I am writing this reference at the request of Darmawi, MD, M.Biomed who is applying Scholarship for Ph.D
Program in Taiwan.
I have known Mr. Darmawi for 3 years in both of my capacity as faculty and vice director Indonesian
Medical Education and Research Institute Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia. He was under my
direct supervision during advance reproductive science and technology class as well as later while in
Human Reproductive, Infertility and Family Planning Research Center he was doing his research. Based on
his grade, attendance and class participation, I would rate his academic performance as superior; he has
graduated on time and in cum laude grade. He shows excellent quality in discipline, hardworking, and
trustworthy.
As a student, he was very keen on learning something new, passionate about effective communication, and
interact easily with people. He is very independent yet working very well in a group consisting people
coming from various background. He has a good attitude, nice and helpfull person. He also has a very
good potential in research since his was involved in several research activities both in his study or as a
lecturer.
