Software Agreement

By installing the software you are accepting the following software agreement.

The word "software" is used here to include computer programs, drivers and
documentation.

The software delivered with the USB Download Cable GEV189, GEV195 and
GEV218 are licensed from the manufacturer PROLIFIC TECHNOLOGY INC. to
Abotron AG.

The newest versions of the necessary software PL-2303 USB to Serial Bridge
Controller are downloadable from http://www.prolific.com.tw. By downloading drivers
and software from this site, you agree to the terms and conditions from PROLIFIC
TECHNOLOGY INC.
You agree that Abotron AG has made no express warranties to you regarding the
software.
The software is being provided to you 'AS IS' without warranty of any kind.

Abotron AG has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, updates, enhancements

or modifications.
In no event will Abotron AG be liable to you for any loss of data on your computer,
interruption of business, or any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential
damages of any kind (including lost profits) regardless of the form of action whether in
contract, tort (including negligence), strict product liability or otherwise out of the
installation and use of the software, even if Abotron AG has been advised of the
possibility of such damages.
