COURSES IN ENGLISH
Incoming students have the opportunity to course an International Semester (Spring Semester). During this semester the
students will be able to choose up to 60 ECTS taught in English and 150 ECTS which examinations can be taken in English.
Even if the rest of the courses are offered in Spanish or Basque some teachers offer the possibility to do the exam in English and
students can go and ask their doubts during the office hours, see the attached document to check in which courses students
can take their exams in English.
In addition, Final Year Project (12 ECTS) can always be performed in English in different areas.
You can find some proposed projects in the Final Year Project area of the Web page, click in the Bachelor you are interested to
see the proposals. Or you can go to the Research area and see what we are working in to choose the Final Year Project.

LANGUAGE COURSES
As mentioned above, Campus of Araba offers Spanish and Basque courses for all the incoming students. They are courses
offered to all the Erasmus students at our Campus, this means that they will meet students from different faculties and
countries. In addition, the students will have the opportunity to attend some language courses in Italian, French… at the Faculty
of Arts.

LOCATION
Our Faculty is located in the Campus of Araba of The University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) 5 minutes on foot from the
centre of the city (Vitoria-Gasteiz). Vitoria-Gasteiz can be easily reached by plane, mainly via Bilbao (50 minutes from Vitoria).

The Campus offers sports and cultural activities to all students.

ACCOMMODATION
The Help Centre will help students with housing guidance and support, information on the city and the campus, details on
Spanish and Basque courses, student services on campus... or any other support they might need while among us (sport
facilities, transport…).

4
INTERNSHIP AND UNDERGRADUATE THESIS
