3. Candle = a stick of wax with string going through it that you burn to produce light
4. Careful = giving alot of attention towhat you’re doing so that you don’t have an accident,make a
mistake,or damage something
5. Caretaker = someone whose job is to look after a large building, such as a school
6. Carry = to hold something or someone with your hand, arms, or on your back and take them from one
place to another
7. Cashier = someone whose job is to recieve and pay out money in a shop, bank, stc

8. Defensive = quick to protect yourself from being criticized
9. Deforestation = when all the trees in a large area are cut down

11. Delivery = when someone takes things suck as letters, parcels, or goods to a person or place
12. Designer = someone who draws and plans how something will be made’despite = used to say that
something happened is true, altought something else makes this seem not probable
13. Destroy = to damage something so badly that it doeasn’t exist or can’t be used
14. Determined = wanting to do something very much, and not letting anyone stop you
15. Develop = to make something new such as a product
16. Diamond = a veryhard, transparent stone that is extremely valuable and is often used in jewelery
