-x-x-x-x-
Madam/Sir,
You are aware that vide notification No. F.1-4/2005-NVS(Estt.-II) dated 20th Oct. 2005,
appointment of Appellate Authority, Public Information Officer and Assistant Public Information Officer
was made at three levels (viz Hqr’s level, RO level and Vidyalaya level) in the Samiti. It has now come
to the notice that because of the multiplicity of PIOs in one Public Authority, a citizen seeking
information often faces harassment/difficulties at the time of submitting his/her application under RTI
Act to the proper PIO. In order to avoid such harassment/difficulties of the citizen, henceforth,
application submitted by any citizen seeking information under RTI Act should be accepted by all APIOs
for onward submission to the concerned PIOs under intimation to Hqrs. In other words, a citizen seeking
information in r/o any JNV/RO and Hqrs can submit his/her application directly to any of the Principals
of JNV/APIO of any RO and Hqrs office who in turn shall initiate necessary action for providing the
information to the applicant within the prescribed time limit under RTI Act.
2. This is issued with the approval of the Commissioner, NVS for strict compliance by all
concerned.
Yours faithfully,
Copy to :-
(1) Shri S.B. Sharma, Asstt. Commissioner (Estt.)/Web Master with the request to place this circular
on the web site of Samiti for information of Gen. Public.
