TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS EQUIPMENT DESIGN

I t is a pressure working filter that is composed
by a cylindrical container by which the filtered
product goes through, this container has a valve
to allow the liquid to go out and arrive to the
next equipment. It also has a pump that has a
sort of a pistón that makes an up and down
movement to smash the slurry and make the
liquid contained in the slurry go through the
filter. By last it has a strainer to keep the cachaza
separated from the juice cane.

FUNCTION

This filter has the objective of separating the

cachaza of the sugar cane from the sugar cane
juice. This, to obtain the biggest posible amount
of sucrose in juice form.
