Health Science 2 Honors
High school and I’m in the 11th grade. I would like to complete high school with a
qualifying GPA to attend college (possibly playing basketball while I’m there), and
and skills about the human anatomy. Also knowing that I’ll be able to help save lives,
and or to change someone’s quality of life for the better is very rewarding. It excites me
to know that the knowledge that I’ll obtain in my studies will be able to enlighten others
There are many opportunities that have allowed me to already being the path to
accomplishing my goals. This summer I’ll be in my 4th year of volunteering with UNC
Health Care, where I’ve had the privilege of shadowing doctors, and sitting in on a
babies being born. I have also began taking classes at Rockingham County High to help
me have the chance to graduate from high with my CNA certification. So far I’ve taken 3
classes within the track of the medical field called Health Team Relations, Health
Science 1 and Health Science 2. I’ve followed through with the necessary steps by
applied for the Health and Fundamentals program, which will assist me in achieving my
life goal.
The lessons that I have learned from my experiences in preparing me for a
healthcare career that will help me become successful in the future, is to always be
ready to learn. I pride myself on being the type of person who enjoys learning new skills
to implement not only in the medical field but in everyday life. This advantage will help
changing and saving lives with its critical demands, reliability and accuracy. There is
always the new best thing to research for the purpose of increasing technology and
techniques to improve the abilities of life through surgery. I’ve also learned that being
patience is not only a major part of life in grenal, but it plays a large factor in the
situations which has helped me have the patience that are needed to be helpful towards
others. In the healthcare field you must have self-restraint, due to the fact you may
never know or completely understand what someone else is going through, and or the
pain that they may be in. By being patient and having empathy for others they will gain
trust in you and have more faith in the service being provided to them. These values will
