BASIC CONSTRUCTION STEP’S

1.First we need to select a land and purchase it.

2. we need to plan (even the structural design of the building)
3.we need get required permissions from the government to build.
4.Now the construction part starts here there are two stages’.
stage one is called rcc structure and in every rcc
structure/elements there are few steps that are common those
are
 Steel rod bending
 Shuttering
 Pouring concrete
 De-shuttering
After stage 1 back soiling is done then watering and then flooring
with pcc and then column casting and then beams and slab
casting. they level the soil by using earth ramming[compacting].
Removing of shuttering plates is called de-shuttering.
STAGE2 is also called super structure. After levelling is done at
zero level flooring of pcc is done. Then we do brick work. Here we
used red brick the standard size of red brick is
225mm*112.5mm*75mm.mainly, we have two types red bricks

and cement bricks, cement bricks are again classified as light and
soli d bricks. We join bricks using cement and the composition of
the cement and the water is 1:5, we prepare cement mortar
consists of sand, aggregates with specified amount of water and it
can be used for plastering over bricks or the other form of
masonry.
As per CIVIL STANDARDS we shouldn’t construct more than 1m
height. After all the above steps are done then
 Electrical and plumbing works are done
 Water proofing and plastering (2 coats –one is smooth and
the other is rough coat)
 Windows and doors fitting
 Flooring finishing
 Painting of walls and ceiling
 Fittings
Interior designing and outside flooring, plastering should be done.
