1. Name and explain the types of B2C e-commerce we have.

Online retail sales in the Philippines have lagged the recent rapid growth seen
among the island nation's neighbors in Southeast Asia. B2C marketers know
that their customers are prone to making impulse purchases and typically
make buying decisions independently. They can be swayed by various factors,
including a trendy brand, quality customer service, convenience (free and fast
shipping), and social proof. Among the leading online merchants operating in
the Philippines are Lazada and Shopee, both with headquarters in Singapore.

2. Write short notes on the forms of C2C e-commerce

Two implementations of C2C markets are auctions and classified

advertisements. C2C marketing has soared in popularity with the arrival of the
internet and companies such as eBay, Etsy, and Craigslist. C2C represents a
market environment where one customer purchases goods from another
customer using a third-party business or platform to facilitate the transaction.
C2C companies are a new type of model that has emerged with e-
commerce technology and the sharing economy.

3. Briefly explain those things e-commerce consists of in your own words.

E-commerce refers to the purchase and sale of goods and/or services via electronic channels such as
the internet. These days, you can’t really say that online shopping is a niche market, aimed at a small
audience anymore. People watch what they spend on; so it’s only natural to expect that they want to
know everything there is to know about the product they’re going to buy, the purchase process, payment
methods, the delivery service, warranties etc, that will help them secure a decision and commit to a
transaction. i’d like to suggest to you several features which will probably help.

 Company information and contact details – you need to have a certain label or
information so that people will know more about your website.

 Privacy Policy - Explain how you deal with consumers' personal information. It is also
nice to inform consumers that you use “cookies” and how it works.

 Secure payment platform - because you will be liable if your website does not use a
secure payment platform.

 Sitemap - So that search engines can crawl your website more intelligently.

1. Name and explain the types of B2C e-commerce we have.

Filipinos are prolific users of social media. Estimates this year show that there
are 83 million active social media users from the Philippines. Even though it
has the second largest population of the region, it had the lowest B2C E-
Commerce sales figures. Local companies JG Summit and Ayala Group are
expanding their online presence and offering to compete with the foreign
operators while ensuring that the movement to B2C E-Commerce does not
leave them behind.

2. Write short notes on the forms of C2C e-commerce

Consumer to consumer, or C2C, is the business model that facilitates

commerce between private individuals. Whether it's for goods or services, this
category of e-commerce connects people to do business with one another. A
solid example of C2C transactions would be the classifieds section of a
newspaper, or an auction. In both cases, a customer – not a business – sells
goods or services to another customer. A more high-tech version of this is the
rise of apps like letgo and OfferUp that allow consumers to sell to their
neighbors.

3. Briefly explain those things e-commerce consists of in your own words.

Web analytic tools for tracking your visitors - This is a very valuable marketing tool to
assist you to understand how your website is being used, which allows you to increase the
effectiveness of your website and marketing. A clear and remarkable logo is a business
card for both startup shops and branded stores.
Some are attracted by free shipping, some by the major mark downs — but almost
everybody is interested in one kind of promo or another. Thus, discounts and special
deals are usually the first things that website visitors look for. The shopping cart, login
box and search box features are usually placed together at every eCommerce site. It’s
almost impossible to imagine a store without a shopping-cart function included. This will
also prove popular with customers who demand a specific product that they just need to
locate from your online store to make their order.
