Presentation Reflection #1

My first presentation to Mrs. Chamness went relatively well. At first, I was nervous, but
after the optimism of the teacher and after seeing several familiar faces in the class, I overcame
my hesitation and delivered a strong introduction. Surprisingly, I was more or less calm and
collected during my presentation, allowing me to deliver the information to the audience in a
way that interested them. However, I have a bad habit of saying “um” and “uh” frequently and
this presentation was not exempt of that. The teacher noticed this in my presentation and marked
it according in my evaluation. In the future, I will work harder in order to slow down and prevent
“um’s” and “uh’s” and I will also add an interactive aspect in the middle of my presentation to
keep the audience engaged. Overall, this was a successful presentation and helped me identify
both my areas of strengths and my weaknesses.
