Things I Have Accomplished:

1. Contacted potential advisors in my area of study
2. Presented to various classrooms throughout the school
3. Interviewed professionals in my field of study
4. Compiled a comprehensive list of annotated sources
5. Had a successful parent-teacher conference

Things I Want to Accomplish in the Next 2 Weeks:

1. Send more advisor letters and acquire an advisor
2. Improved public speaking and presentation skills
3. Improve my time management and procrastination
4. Finish narrowing down and finalize my research project
5. Get a second interview with professional

I faced 2 primary challenges over the last two weeks. I interviewed and discussed my
research with a professional which both narrowed down my research and opened new avenues
for exploration as well, forcing me to again choose between many interesting paths for my
research topic, which was a long and arduous decision. In addition, I dealt with the usual issue of
procrastination and disorganization, which prevented me from fulfilling assignments to the best
of my ability. These challenges forced me to learn from my mistakes and ensure that I don't
repeat them.

I am currently pursuing a topic related to sleep disruption and fragmentation in hospitals.

I am looking into environmental and underlying factors that caused frequent arousals during the
night and deteriorated sleep quality that can slow the healing process in a patient.
