Earliest Known
This image from 1826 is the oldest known photograph
taken. It’s a picture of the view from an upstairs window.

Photograph-1826
It’s not a very good picture but it shows how far we’ve
come since then.
 It’s non substantive, color reversal film made by Eastman
Kodachrome Kodak for cinematography and even photography. One of
the first color materials to be successful.

Film-1935
 It’s an obsolete photographic process in which a photo
Daguerreotype-1839 made on a silver surface sensitized with iodine was
developed by exposing it to mercury vapor.
 The first photographic process, heliography, Was
Origins Of The Term invented in 1824. Then in 1838, daguerreotype was
invented. These inventions started a chain of new
"Photography”-1824 photographic techniques and inventions.
 Introduced in 1841, this technique uses paper and
Calotype-1840 iodine to darken the photo, and create a cool looking
picture.
 This instant camera uses self developing film to
Polaroid Instant create a chemically developed print quikly after taking
the picture.
Photography-1847
 Invented in 1851, this process involved adding a
Wet Collodion soluble iodide to a solution of collodion and coating a
glass plate with the mixture.
Process-1851
 The first color photograph made using the three color
Color method made by James Maxwell in 1855. The subject is a
colored ribbon, usually said to be a tartan ribbon.

 Dry plate, or gelatin process, is a better type of
Dry Plate photographic plate. Invented by Dr. Richard Maddox in
1871, it was so well introduced that the first dry plate

First Digital invented in 1975, it uses a charge coupled device image
sensor.

 Invented in 1888, this film was put inside a simple box
Kodak Roll Film camera, it was a 100-exposure roll of film.
