I. Objective: Arrange the events in order by listening to the text read.

III. Developmental Activities:


Activity:Ask the learners if they know the meaning of the word ‘mayhem’. Explain the meaning of the word.
After the definition, instruct the learners to pair up. Tell the learners that they will listen to a set of events not
arranged in order. During the first reading, they will just listen. In the second reading remind them that they
need to take down notes and look for words that signal their order.
Analysis: Process questions:
1. How do you arrange the story in order?
2. Why is there a need to arrange the sentences in order?
3. What are the signal words that helped you arrange the story in in order?
Abstraction:Let the learners generalize what they have learned from the lesson.
Application:Have them organize their answers on the table provided in the LM.

IV. Evaluation: Re arrange the order of the story to make it correct by putting letters A,B,C,D and E on the
space provided.
