your project. What do you need to improve?

THIS IS JUST GUIDANCE THAT YOU NEED TO ADAPT TO YOUR OWN PROJECT. YOU HAVE CREATED YOUR
OWN PRODUCTION SCHEDULES AND YOUR WEEKLY BLOGS SHOULD REFELCT THAT.

THESE QUESTIONS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED IN THE WEEKS YOU COMPLETED THEM. DO NOT JUST SUBMIT THIS
FORM FILLED IN FOR YOUR WEEKLY BLOGS. THERE SHOULD BE 11 WEEKLY BLOG ENTRIES (INCLUDING
EASTER).

Week Five - Planning

PLANNING

What did you learn from your planning This week I thought out all the props that I will need to get for
this week? my production. I need some toy guns, preferably ones that look
semi realistic. As well as this I will need some balaclavas for my
robbers which I don’t have. I will need to borrow them from
someone or to order them offline.

What issues did you encounter and Organisation was a key issue this week as I missed a couple of
how did you overcome them? days because I was sick. Getting back on top of my work was
quite challenging but I managed to do it. The hardest thing to
sort out was my production schedule because it is hard to plan
what exactly I’m going to record the week before. What
helped me complete my production schedule was looking at
my past work and previous production schedule’s that I made.
This was very useful as I found a few details that I missed out on
the production schedule and added them.

How did you ensure that your location My location recces are completed to a high standard as they
recces were completed to a high are all filled out. I only used 2 different locations, Dylan Coates
standard? house in Henley and the Abandon Garden centre in Ship Lake.
I am familiar with both locations therefore I could predict the
possible hazards and problems that could happen when
recording in these locations. To make sure the location recces
were up to standard I showed them to my teachers and got
feedback from them.
How did you ensure that your props list I made sure I thought about all the items that I will need use in
and crew list were completed to a my production and added other items that I ended up using
high standard? during recording that I didn’t plan upon using.

My Crew list has the same layout as my props list. I have

decided to keep it nice and simple so I don’t have to spend a
lot of time when navigating to find what I need. My crew list
consists of 6 people (Including me) and 3 of us will be
operating the camera.

How have you ensured your When creating my production schedule I had to look at all of
production schedule includes enough the work we had to do. This way I made sure that the
detail? production schedule had all of the work scheduled into
meaning that I wont miss anything out.
The screenshot above is my production schedule. I have made
simple and understandable, including points of what I plan to
do each day, as well as this I write about how I am going to
evaluate the work I do so that the work is up to standard and
done properly.

How well have you managed and Me and the cast were all recording our productions and we
organised your cast and crew to be in were also in each other’s productions therefore it wasn’t
available when you need them? difficult to secure the dates that we will be recording on. I
asked a few people if they can be my back up actors in case
of an event where one of the crew members could not make
it.
