Week six – Planning/filming

PLANNING

What did you learn from your planning This week I made final touches to my pre-production work but
this week? for the most part, I was focusing on making sure that I was
completely ready to film. For example I went back and went
over setting up an interview again and how to get the best
setup for my interviews and I made sure that I knew about what
lighting I would be in in case I needed to take artificial lighting
with me.

What issues did you encounter and This week I didn’t encounter any issues as I was just finishing off
how did you overcome them? my pre-production making sure everything was there I it was
completed to a high standard.

How did you ensure that you are I feel that I have completed all of my pre-production work to a
prepared for filming? detailed standard. I believe that my content research is
completed well and I know about the current news and
potential future of the topic of my documentary. I also think
that by watching and analysing videos about interview set up
and how to film objects moving at high speed, that I feel
confident in filming and interviewing for when I am required to.
When I comes to filming my interviews next week I will confident
with my self-setting up and making sure I am doing everything
correctly and using the interview rules to good use.

How well have you been able to I have booked my train tickets to The Hawthorns in Birmingham
organise locations and transport? and I have finished my script ready to do my piece to camera
In front of the Jeff Astle gate outside West Brom’s stadium. I
have also look at the buses and bus times to make sure I can
get to my three interviews on time and make sure I am set up
and organised so I look professional and not look
unprofessional looking like I don’t know what I am doing.
Are you on track for the week? If not, Yes I am on track for this week.
how far behind are you?
