Where do we go after we die?

Buddhism

● Everything changes, nothing is permanent, and suffering is inevitable.

● True happiness, enlightenment, and freedom from suffering can be found through Buddhist
teachings.
● Death is a natural part of life.
● Both wisdom and compassion should be developed.
● A person’s actions during his lifetime results in karma that determines in what form his spirit will
be reborn—as a human, an animal, or various forms of spirits, including angels, demons, gods,
beasts and ghosts.
Where do we go after death ?? (Buddhism)
In buddhism, there are three things. First, you will born in heaven if you doing
good things in your previous life but if you are not doing good and doing bad
things your will be in hell or reborn as beast. Last thing that you will go is reborn as
human. (Depend on your merit that you have in this life)
Christianity
● Christian beliefs about the afterlife vary between denominations and
individual Christians, but the vast majority of Christians believe in some kind
of heaven. On the other hand, a slightly smaller majority of Christians believe
in hell, a place of suffering where unbelievers or sinners are punished.
● Catholic Christians also believe in purgatory, a temporary place of
punishment for Christians who have died with unconfessed sins.
Purgatory
In Roman Catholicism, purgatory is a temporary state of suffering and
purification for believers who die in a state of sin. All those in purgatory will
eventually go to heaven. This doctrine is generally not shared by other branches
of Christianity.
Where do we go after death (Christian)
At the end of the age, the bodies of the dead shall be raised. The righteous
shall enter into full possession of eternal bliss in the presence of God, and the
wicked shall be condemned to eternal death.
Islam

- Islam teaches that there is life after death, and this is known as Akhirah

- In Islam, it is Allah who decides when a person dies and most Muslims believe that when they die, they will stay in
their graves until Yawm al-din, the Day of Judgement. On that day, they will be raised from their graves and
brought before Allah and judged on how they lived their earthly lives. This belief is known as the resurrection of the
body,
