which represents the

stages in life of a man.

Here are the seven ages as presented in the poem:

First age: Infant

Second age: Schoolboy
Third age: Lover
Fourth age: Soldier
Fifth age: Justice
Sixth age: Old man
Seventh age: Death

The Seven Ages of Man's theme is life cycle of a man from birth to death. Readers of the poem have had varying questions and
answers in their desire to comprehend the real meaning of the poem. The poem will surely leave its readers a moral lesson
that they'll be keeping for the rest of their lives.

Seven Ages of Men:

According to the poem, the schoolboy is whining with his satchel, creeping like a snail, and is unwilling to go to school. Often
we see kids acting like this when it is their first time to go to school and find it hard to go out of their homes and study.

How do I feel about these pictures of childhood?

happy

reminiscing
I feel happy when I see kids that are hesitant to go to school because I knew that behind that hesitation is an excited young
fellow, curious about the new environment that he is about to discover, and a little scared of his teacher. I am sure that just
like the others these kids will later enjoy schooling and will be very at ease to express themselves inside the classroom while
showcasing their talents and impressing their parents and their teacher. Inasmuch as each kid will be happy to be recognized
and noticed by someone older than them.

I also feel sad whenever I see kids that are unwilling to go to school because somehow it is a sign that they are not well guided
and prepared for schooling. Generally, parents are the one who should prepare their kids for schooling but unluckily not all
parents have the time to do that. Because they are too busy with their work, they tend to neglect their duty that is why most
kids are not prepared to leave home and go to school. They are in short of proper guidance and inspiration that will motivate
them to go to school regularly.

Aside from being happy and sad, I also feel excited about seeing schoolboys hesitant to go to school. I know it will be a great
challenge for the teacher and because of that she must have exciting activities that might catch each schoolboy’s attention in
order for them to get engaged and stay in school. Since most schoolboys love playing, the teacher should be ready to give
them time to adjust and be ready for the lessons that she is about to give them. They should not be deprived from playing so
that they will not be frightened or shocked.

I even feel reminiscing when I see kids that are hesitant to go to school. It reminds me of my childhood. Because I was too
attached with my mom, I find it very difficult to be with other kids and with a teacher that would look after us for a few hours.
In fact, I never allow my mom to leave as she escorts me inside the classroom which looks like a huge play pen. How well I
remember how my teacher would hold my arms and assist me on the way to my chair because I am too hesitant to enter the
classroom.

Seven Ages of Men by: William Shakespeare

In the first two lines of the poem, the world is compared to a stage. The people that were found on the earth are also
compared to the players who often perform on the stage. Both the world and the stage serve as platform where exhibits their
talents.

How Are the Stage and the World Related?

Both the stage and the world serve as setting.

As the stage is set for performances so as the world is set for true to life experiences.
As people were placed in the world to assume different responsibilities, performers are called to the stage to play different
roles also.
The stage is set and decorated depending on the theme of the play; the world is either set depending on how we want it to be.
The world is where our lives are set. God made this world to be the place where people can stay and prove themselves until
they are ready to go back to His presence. Everything we experience in this life happens here the same manner that the stage
was prepared to be the setting of a certain play. Often the stage is set depending on the mood that the production wished
their audiences to feel while watching the play.

Every performance was displayed on the stage. There are certain elements of the stage that makes it more appealing to the
audience such as lighting, sound effects, musical background, and decorations. The world on the other hand is designed
according to God’s perfect plan. Everything on this world has its purpose but one thing is sure, everything was made for the
benefit of men. Our life here on earth maybe easier or a little lighter because of what God has provided for us.

People were placed here on the world to assume different roles or responsibilities. Men and women are created to be mothers
and fathers, brothers and sisters, soldiers, nurses, doctors, or any careers of our choice as long as we function as good and
morally upright citizens while the stage is a platform where plays are being showcased and talents are being displayed for live
audiences.

The stage is usually decorated depending on the theme of the play being showcased. Several examples can be musical,
theatrical, and Broadways. On the other hand, the world we live in is personally designed by God but our environment which is
a smaller part of the world which we live is decorated using our own freewill. We can always make it fit for our needs.

Seven Ages of Men:

In the 13th and 14th lines of the poem, reputation is compared to a bubble. Bubble aside from being a thin ball of water that
encloses air or gas also refers to a dream, a daydream, or a fantasy just like a momentary period of a very prosperous
economic performance in a specific country or region that is usually followed by breakdown.

Here are the examples of metaphors used in "The Seven Ages of Man:"

1. All the world's a stage - the world is compared to a stage;

2. All the men and women merely players - players are compared to the different people we meet in this life;
3. They have their exits and entrances - compared to the people who come (enter) and go (exit) out of our lives. Also, it
pertains at the time when we are born (enter) and inevitably ends in death (exit);
4. And one man in his time plays many parts - compared to a man doing his part in this life;
5. His acts being seven ages - compared to the phases that a man has to go through in his life;
6. Seeking the bubble reputation - this refers to a man who wants to build a reputation but does not want to really work hard
for it;
7. And then the justice in fair round belly, with good capon lin'd - compared to a judge who is wiser because of years of
experience but still commits mistakes;
8. Into the lean and slipper'd pantaloons - compared to an old foolish man.

Examples of simile in the poem:

1. Creeping like a snail - the boy is compared to a snail that moves slowly;
2. Sighing like a furnace - means sighing constantly for being so love-struck;
3. Bearded like a pard - means growing a beard as a proof of being a real man.

As tha man reaches the sixth or seventh ages, truly the man's life becomes dependent to others due to his weak senses and
strength and at the same time, his memory also becomes weaken.
Yes, because as i observed in our real life no one of us will not become a schoolboy anymore in the future , therefor we will
become an old person someday , it is the reality accept it :)
Elderly is the person with experience and surpass life expectancy of a human. It is a worldwide term for a person with old age.
It is a term used in cultural especially in native people. It is a person needed to be respected for their greater contribution to
our society's history. A person who is in need of care and attention for they are about to face loneliness and even death.

The word Sans means without. The lines in the poem repeated it four times to catch the attention of the readers to make them
feel the emotions in it. To make an emphasis about the story especially the climax or the ending of it.
It makes them easier to understand and remember it 11.
