Hi i was reconecting the radio on my montero and i dont know where to plug the ground wire, its there but the 1995 Mitsubishi Mirage
part that goes to the radio i dont know where to connect it. do i have to connect it with another one or is there 1994 Mitsubishi Mirage

Daryl, you have to ground your aftermarket radio to the chassis (vehicle frame) when you don’t have a factory 1993 Mitsubishi Mighty Max
ground wire in the stereo wire harness. Simply ground your wire to the chassis (look below). 1992 Mitsubishi Mighty Max
1. Find some bare metal on your vehicle (somewhere near your factory radio harness). Make sure this bare
metal touches the chassis (frame) of the vehicle. 1989 Mitsubishi Mighty Max

trying to install rear side speaker into a 1995 montero LS SUV. How do you remove the grill face from the side
panel,or how do you remove the side panel

I bought a new JVC stereo and removed my orginal one from my Mitsubishi Montero 1998, I connected all the
wires and plugged in everything I could. The stereo turns on and my power antenna goes up but I have
absolutely no sound. I do have three cords that plugged into my old radio but don’t have a place to go on my
new one. I’ve triple checked all the wires on the wiring harness and they are all correct. I’m not sure what to
do next.

Billeigh, first double check ALL your fuses and make sure ALL your fuses are good. You can do this by using
an Automotive Fuse Tester and making sure all of your fuses are not blown. If all of your fuses are good,
your 1998 Mitsubishi Montero may have a factory amplifier that needs to be turned on by your after market
radio. The car stereo amplifier trigger wire has to be wired up to turn on your factory amplifier. Unfortunately,
we do not have this information but maybe someone from the Modified Life community can post that
information here. Hope this points you in the right direction. Good luck with your 1998 Mitsubishi Montero
stereo installation.
