Eradicat

What is used currently: Sausages that are made with kangaroo meat, chicken
fat, herbs, spices and the poison, 1080(sodium monofluoroacetate). The
poison is made out of native Gastrolobium pea plants and is also produced
synthetically so that it is only poisonous to invasive species. These ingredients
are mixed together and turned into a “sausage”. They are about 2.5 by .5

What we would make (For other locations): We would do a similar thing for
other locations, but with many ingredients swapped out to be more effective.
It would consist primarily of a meat that would be on a higher trophic level
than most endemic species but that is still eaten by the invasive species. We
would add herbs spices and pheromones to either repel native species and/or
entice invasive species. For the poison we would have to find another plant or
chemical similar to 1080 for that location. By similar we mean it has the same
properties, those being that it is poisonous to invasive species but not to
endemic ones due to their evolution alongside it or resistance to it. This
concoction would then be turned into similar sausages but the size would vary
depending on the targeted invasive species.
