Support HelpDesk and Hotline

HelpDesk

The HelpDesk System is a tool for you and our support team and offers you the opportunity to
create support requests quickly and in an easy manner.

Tickets Each support request will create a so-called „Ticket“ in the HelpDesk
System.

Your advantages ƒ Clarity

A ticket number is allocated to each request. You can always have a
look at the details of your request.

ƒ Quick help
Online requests will be routed directly to the responsible technician
giving him all the information he needs.

ƒ Transparency
With the HelpDesk System transparency of ongoing and closed
requests is always guaranteed – even when the technician working on it
is currently not available.

How is a ticket created?

Online You can access our Online HelpDesk System via our homepage.
After you have registered for a first time you can immediately start
creating tickets.

You will find a user’s guide in the member’s area of our homepage
(Member Downloads > Downloads Technicians > HelpDesk).

By phone Of course, our technicians can still be reached by phone. However, we

would like to draw your attention to the fact that only tickets that have
been created online ensure safe and efficient processing. Requests by
phone must be entered manually by our technicians. This may influence
our reaction times.

Hotline phone number: +49 (0) 77 03 / 93 88 - 998

1.6.1 General rules to be observed when maintaining the machine

Note on ESD There are many occasions in everyday life where persons and objects are
charged by friction with electrostatic energy, which may result in an electric
charge of several thousands of volts.
When touching a conducting object, such as an electronic module, the
electrostatic energy discharges. The resulting equalising current and
electromagnetic fields can destroy electronic components.

Do not touch the electronic components of the machine.

Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can cause malfunctions or destroy
the unit.

Protect from To guarantee the correct function of the unit when carrying out any
moisture maintenance work on the receiver, make sure that all electrical and electronic
components are protected from moisture and water.

Before opening the Autofuel Terminal make sure that:

• there is no moisture on the upper cover/hood of the unit. Remove any

moisture before opening the unit.

• the unit is protected from moisture if work is carried out in unfavourable

weather (rain, snow, etc.).

Security and The security and safety equipment of the machine must not be bridged or
safety equipment bypassed.
Only machines that are in technically perfect condition may be used. When
operating the unit observe the safety rules contained in these instructions!
Particularly malfunctions that reduce the safety of the unit must be eliminated
immediately.

What to do • Disconnect the unit from mains (main power switch to OFF).

On the Heconomy up to a maximum of 8 tank level gauges (OptiLevel

system from Hectronic) can be connected.

RS232C Interface The connection is made via the RS 232C interface between Hecfleet
NT and the OptiLevel Supply.

Cable length The cable length, for a screened data cable between Heconomy and
the OptiLevel Supply, must not exceed 15 m.

Activation/ The probe connection and the strapping table are configured by the
Configuration HecPoll Software and transmitted to the autofuel system.

Polling The autofuel terminal polls the probes every minute. The level data
can be viewed in HecPoll or called up via service routine 08 directly at
the terminal.

Please note that the signal cables intersect, i.e. TxD>RxD and
RxD>TxD.

Version 03 43
Chapter 3 – Installation / Commissioning Heconomy – TPM

3.9 Commissioning

Precondition The precondition for commissioning the Heconomy is a serial

connection to the autofuel terminal.

Configuration The Heconomy is no longer configured on the display but obtains all
its parameters from the database, which is configured by means of
the HecPoll polling software, and is then transmitted to the main
board. As soon as the main board has received all the necessary
information the Heconomy comes “into operation”.

Exception Exceptions to this are rudimentary settings such as date, time, display
contrast, keyboard sensitivity and background lighting of the display.
These settings can be made in different service routines directly on
the autofuel terminal.

Control Panel As a technician you may control the correct functioning and
configuration of the Heconomy via a separate application, the so-
called “Heconomy Control Panel”. This application also allows for
settings that cannot be made in HecPoll.

The Heconomy must be connected to a network to work for access

via the Control Panel.

Standard IP The standard IP address of the Heconomy is:

address
192.168.10.180

44 Version 03
Heconomy – TPM Chapter 3 – Installation / Commissioning

3.10 FTP Connection

An FTP connection is used to transmit all kinds of files to the

Heconomy, or to receive files from it.

Ethernet connection To configure the unit locally a laptop can be connected to the
autofuel terminal via an Ethernet cable. For this purpose the
autofuel terminal is opened and the Ethernet cable (network cable)
is connected to the router.

To make a connection the user must know the IP address of the

Ethernet connection and must configure his/her laptop accordingly.

Windows/ Total We recommend the Total Commander software for the data
Commander exchange between the PC and the autofuel terminal. You have
numerous setting possibilities for a data exchange and an FTP
connection function.

3.10.1 FTP server setup

To set up the FTP server proceed as follows: click on FTP in the

symbol bar .

You will now see the window of the FTP server:

Click on “new connection” here.

2.) Enter the IP address, e.g. 192.168.10.171

3.) Enter the user name

4.) Enter the password

5.) Save with „OK“.

The first three number blocks of the IP address of the PC and the
autofuel terminal must be identical (Class C network), otherwise no
connection is made.

A network connection can now be made to the Heconomy with FTP >
Connect. You will now see the data on the autofuel terminal.

4.6 Additional functions

4.6.1 Autarkic mode

Autarkic mode is available in case the fuel terminal functions are partly limited or not available at all,
and it is still necessary to dispense fuel. This function is mainly needed when a customer is unable
to authenticate against the terminal, or when authentication is not required.
Switching to autarkic mode does the following:
releases all fuel pumps connected to the terminal
logs all fills performed in autarkic mode with a special card number of 9995.

In the case of MR computers, all relays are pulled in!

Switching to To switch from normal to autarkic mode, you need to use the key switch
autarkic mode located on the left of the terminal above the controller board.

Standalone

Reverting to To return the terminal to normal operation, you need to turn the key switch for
normal mode autarkic mode back to its previous position.

Evaluating data After returning to normal operation, you can output the content of the
transaction memory (fills and stock changes)
• at the terminal as a hard copy using program 51 "Print Transactions" or
• transfer the data to the PC.

There is a risk of explosion if the lithium battery on the controller is not replaced
correctly. The lithium battery must be replaced by a trained service engineer
only.

Hazardous electrical voltage

Before you start work on the autofuel terminal, interrupt the power supply and
secure the power supply against being switched back on. To this end,
disconnect all pins connected to the terminal from power supply. This all-pin
disconnection before maintenance and repair work also applies to any pump power
supply connected to the autofuel terminal. Do not remove the covers on the power
adapter. Do not touch any live parts.

Components at risk from electrostatic discharge

Avoid any contact with the electronic components in the autofuel terminal.
Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can lead to malfunctions or destruction of the
electronic components.

Surfaces may become overheated in and around heating appliances.

Risk of injuries! – Please be aware that the metal parts might have sharp edges. Be careful when
