Dear Parents,

We would like to invite applications from our students to register for the Global
Economics Olympiad!

After successfully establishing itself in promoting the knowledge of finance among the
young minds, International Finance Olympiad proudly presents another branch that aims at
bringing under the Limelight the importance pertaining to Economics. Econ Wiz Olympiad
would help tap the potential of the young minds in a more optimum way and encourage the
Economist in them at the school level.

Details of the competition:

1) Students of classes 9th to 12th can register for this competition.
2) One time registration fee applicable is INR 225/- (by cash) for the entire competition
of 2019-20.
3) There will be 3 rounds of competition as follows:
• School Round (In the school premises) – 11th October, 2019
Duration- 45 min, Pattern – MCQ based
Preparatory Material: CBSE syllabus is followed for setting the test papers.
Certifications – Participation Certificate & Complete OMR Assessment Report
• Regional Round (In Bangalore, Exact Venue to be declared later) – Dec 2019
Certifications – Certificate for qualifying school round + Class toppers from the
regional round to be awarded with cash prize of INR 1,500 each and additional
INR 5,000 if scored highest at national level + Certificates
Duration – 90 min, Pattern – MCQ based + Audio-Visual Rounds
Preparatory Material –Same as School Round
• Grand Finale(In New Delhi) (All the travelling, boarding and
lodging expenses will be borne by IFO Association for the finalists) – Jan-Feb 2020
Duration – 150 min, Pattern – On stage oral quiz
Certifications – Chance to win cash scholarships upto 1.6 lakhs + Certifications +
Trophy & Mementoes. Preparatory Material –Same as School Round

class teachers
