We at Delhi Public School, Bangalore East always encourage our students to
participate in a plethora of activities and competitions. We believe that each of
our students have a spark that needs to be identified, ignited and honed.
We are happy to share with you that Delhi Public School,Bangalore –
Southwill be hosting a two day‘DIPS Film Festival’ to encourage the budding
filmmakers. The festival will be conducted in the month of July, 2019. The
competition is open for students of GradesVII-XII. It is an excellent
opportunity for the students to present their worldview through the
enchanting world of cinema.
Important Guidelines:
• The competition will be held across different categories with a specific
theme for each category.
• Interested students should submit a copy of the typed script to their Sr.
Mistress by Monday, 17th June. The shortlisted students will be
intimated by Wednesday, 19th June.
• Only the shortlisted students will then submit their copy of the film in a
Pen Drive or CD( In Mp4 format)to the teacher in-charge by
Wednesday,26th June.
• Selected students will also need to pay the participation fee of Rs.500/-.
• The short film must be substantially in English. A few phrases in other
languages are acceptable.
• Captions and credits must be clear, legible and must be within safe
areas.
• Organisers will have the right to screen the awarded or nominated
movie.
• Pen drive /CD of the film submitted will be retained by the organisers.

Theme-The Joy of Sacrifice

Category C- Grade XI & XII

Theme- The ‘I’ of identity
Duration of the film-5-15min
