 SHAPE GUESS WHO – 2 PLAYERS 

In this game you work in pairs.

Each player chooses a shape from the board.

KEEP YOUR SHAPE SECRET but write it down on a piece of paper so that you don’t forget!

Take it in turns to ask questions about your partner’s shape.

Your partner can only answer YES or NO – they cannot describe anything else.

A good example of a question might be:

“Does it have any right angles”

When your partner answers, cover up the shapes on your board which DO NOT follow the rule that
you just found out.

If they said “NO” to that question above... you can cover up any shapes with a right angle.

If you keep covering the shapes which it CAN NOT BE then in the end you will be able to guess the
shape because it will be the only one left which is UNCOVERED.

 THE WINNER IS THE FIRST PLAYER TO GUESS THEIR PARTNER’S SECRET SHAPE 

After you have played the game a few times, write down a few of the questions which were most
helpful for you to ask.
