Worth It Paper: Reflection

What did you learn about writing and about yourself as a writer through writing this
piece?
I learned that I can go beyond writing a typical essay and write an article. Since elementary
school, I was basically told that an essay has to be 5 paragraphs, introduction, conclusion, and
three-body paragraphs. But, writing this new type of writing helped me learn new skills.

What is one thing you want readers to particularly notice when they look at this piece?
One thing that I want readers to notice when they look at this writing piece is the way that it is
written. This essay wasn’t written in a standard 5 paragraph essay like the others, it was written
with an article feel. I want them to notice this because this was a new way of writing for me since
I’ve always wrote standard essays since elementary school.

What would you change if you had the chance to do this piece all over again?
If I had the chance to complete this assignment all over again, I would add more personal details
to add more of a realistic touch to the paper. Another thing that I would add on are side captions
because it would keep the reader’s attention as they continue to read the paper.
