 It is important for TP to know about the target market because if the
advertisement method involves customers who have little to no interest in those
shoes, the money spent on advertising would be completely wasted. TP needs to
know the target market so when it can hit the target market of rich women, the
sales for those expensive shoes would increase which generates profit for TP
and that can be used to compensate for the money used in advertising. (4/4

 Aim to increase sales of those shoes could be used for TP. This is to generate
higher profits for the business and that money could be used to reinvest back into
the business because they can sell more shoes and expand. They could use
television to advertise because on there, it reaches out to many people and TP
can choose the specific channel to advertise on to fit target market. Aim to
improve brand image would increase the reputation of TP, this would give the
brand for shoes an advantage over its competitors and attract more customers to
the shoes. This can yield more profits for the business as customers develop
brand loyalty and keeps buying the shoes from TP over and over again instead of

 Yes, I think advertising is needed for TP’s range of shoes. This is because of the
nature of those shoes being expensive. Not many people can afford expensive
shoes and those that are able to afford might not have the will to buy the shoes
from TP. This causes the amount of potential customers decrease by a lot
because of that filter. Another thing is these shoes are only for women which
means male consumers won’t purchase these shoes for themselves and this
narrows the market down even more. So advertising helps TP in attracting more
customers and make sure as many consumers interested in expensive women
shoes would look to TP’s shoes to buy. (5/6 points)
