Specification for Temporary Shelter
1) The tentage will be used for aircraft component holding area such as wings to body fairing panels, canoes fairings and/or cargo ceiling panels.
These components will be transported to the tentage via wooden pallets or transportation trolleys.
2) The commissioning/completion of the tentage must be before 8 March 2019. The tentage will be used until June 2021. If Heavy Maintenance
Singapore Services (HMS Services) deems that the housing is no longer in use, before June 2021, the contractor is expected to provide a service
for early dismantling of the tentage.
3) To provide a breakdown the monthly maintenance of the tentage, including inspection and adjustment.
4) Exterior
a. To erect a tentage of size 14m (width) x 38m (length) x 5m (height) at the identified location, within the hangar of SIA Engineering
Company. The effective moveable height within the tentage is 4m. The tentage, with side canvas, must be bolted to the ground and able to
withstand inclement weather conditions.
b. To supply and install wire mesh perimeter fencing of height 2.5m. Two sliding doors access gate of length 6m should be provided at the
side for access. (See picture for locations)
5) Interior
a. To supply and laying of power cable for tapping of electrical power from Hangar 6.
b. To supply and install the required DB at the designated location near the tentage.
c. To supply and install LED ceiling lights to achieve 200 lux.
d. To supply and install two portable surveillance cameras to monitor all activities within the shelter. The surveillance cameras should have
provision for retrieving recording via SD card.
e. To supply and install new sprinklers/fire hose reels including new piping works (if required).
f. To supply and install fire extinguisher to the authority requirement (if required).
6) Authority Submission
a. The vendor is expected to prepare the necessary documents and submission to relevant Authority such as URA, CAG, SCDF and BCA.

2. To provide services to submit required documents and forms via e-services
3. To provide services including area computation
4. To provide services including processing fees and e-submission to URA

1. To provide services in preparation of drawings
2. To provide services to submit required documents and forms via e-services
3. To include PE endorsement on all drawings and documents
