"Welcome speech to new students

in Freshman month"
Ladies and Gentlemen, Good Afternoon and welcome to the Yverdon
De Pestalozzi School. It is both an honor and a privilege to stand before all
these new pretty faces. As a dean of this school, I am hoping that you will
enjoy your journey here in our prestigious institution. As incoming freshman
you’re all probably extremely scared, excited, and confused because of the
different environment. I know that most of you are not familiar with each
other right now, but I expect that when the time goes by you get along well
with your classmate, teachers and to our school personnel.
Before I will end this speech I just want to give a piece of advice to
each and everyone. Always treasure the opportunity to study.Do something
for the less fortunate people who’ve never had the same chance as you have. I
know that studying is not easy but we must study hard, not just for a good
salary or a better life. Study hard to be an educated person, an educated
person with knowledge and with a kind heart. I wish that this will be the
beginning of some of the best years of your life. And for those old faces here,
guide your juniors to be a responsible student as well to be an responsible
person.Embrace the journey of learning and enjoy the ride of our school.
Let's continue to work together to help each other to be our best for the future
ahead of the world!
