VALEDICTORY ADDRESS

“Graduation means a beginning and not an ending”

Our highly respected Guest speaker Mr. Noe M. Hermosilla, Principal-In-

Charge Ma’am Mida I. Giray, to our very own Principal Mr. Danilo Cerbito, Head Teacher Mr.

Eddie Poblete, staff and non-staff of Rawis National High School, visitors, friends, parents, and

my fellow graduating students. Ladies and gentlemen, a remarkable and memorable evening a

head of us!

I am pretty much sure that we had lot of vast experiences under Senior

High School curriculum. Being a learner is not an easy task. Endeavoring to pass the mid-term

and final examinations, reporting, assignments, projects, presentations, fulfilling lot of

consecutive requirements and pertinent especially portfolio, enable to conduct and fully grasp

thorough study and learn to face personally the panel, engaging and immersing ourselves in

different offices and departments purposefully eager to learn in some matters. We witnessed

all these difficulties and challenges and atlas here we are wearing toga as symbolizes success

and triumph. This is not an end but a beginning in entering the portal---the exit careers that was

told and oriented by Mrs. Violeta P. Muncada.

I remembered once teacher said and I quote that “If do you think education

is more expensive try to be ignorance”. We back in accomplishment of portfolio and research

study. We always said to our parents “Nay, tay wara naak pampa-photocopy ngan pamasahe

ug pan-research hala na kay kinahanglan namu”. We are always seeking for money to our

parents.
That’s what I like to my mother. Although mahigpit magbigay ng financial but then again hindi

hinaharap. Kinakaya kahit mahirap, they were make a plan in order us to send school,

education that her could offered as legacy and treasure from us regardless the object matters”.

So, grab the opportunity

to do learning. This diploma that I have, those medals, certificates and ribbons that I had last

Seniors Recognition Night, all those honors are not mine actually because it deserves such a

wonderful and supportive mother which I dedicated the most. Thank you mother because you

are not pushing me to be as honor students you are just contented on what my performance at

school.

Being student I learn on how to manage my time religiously. As a leader

and a learner is too complicated. On the side of extra co-curricular activities I do sometimes

absent in order to be a representative of our school in such seminar and meeting. And also as

being a performer when it comes to practice morning and evening. I don’t know on how to

manage my time. I don’t know where must to prioritize. Is it leadership? Academic? Or

performability? The best thing to do, put significantly the time you have. I do believe that every

seconds and hours are too imperative to a student has goals and objectives. Kahit minsan isang

All these sacrifices, blooms in a natural scents. This is the

learning.

To our school. A place of our second home, a place for learning and

wisdom, and a place where we met laughed, cried, and sacrificed. A place we never forget I am

proud to say is the Rawis National High School.

To our teachers. For their undying and selfless dedication in order to bring

the best that they can give to their loving students. A graduated once said “they fed us

knowledge, sheltered us with love, and clothed us with values”. Our teacher are not only our

second parents but are also our friends and idols. Let more students learned from all your good

spirit in teaching.

To the heavenly father. For the strength and courage, light and guidance,

hope and faith. My chair that could lean on whatever and whenever I need. Thank you for the

plan you’ve made to me and bringing instruments in order to avoid danger and risk.

My classmates HUMSS family. To your trust offered and showed to me as

your leader and brother as well. We make a long journey starting from grade 11 up to grade 12

and we collected lot of certificates in different competitions in behalf of our class but of course

because of the solid foundation we shared. HUMSS stand for Handang Umalalay SA Sitwayon. I

love you guys. I know that maybe you hate me because I do always monitoring when we do

general cleaning in our class. Don’t worry still I am your brother forever.

To my adviser Ma’am Marivic Cerbito I am sorry because we do always

surprised you the reason why you feel emotional especially on Christmas party because we
individually gave cards and messages while singing. I feel touched because at least in a simple

way of surprising you do always appreciate a lot what we do small or big. We valued and

cherished you Maam since from the beginning up to now.

For me a diligent student is enough than to an intelligent one. How will

you able to use your intelligent mind if nothing excel in academic interest. Once again, a

pleasant evening to all of us!
