STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

One of the most significant decisions in life is the choice of career. A shrewd decision made
based of factors ranging from latent interests, inherent skills to scope and satisfaction. My choice
of career has emanated from careful analysis and planning. I have always believed in the best
and then, given my innate potential, assimilated knowledge and positive attitude. I am confident
I will succeed in my endeavor. A constant urge to learn and explore, an ambition to become a
child researcher, a desire to be apart of growing CARE world and contribute to its development
have led me to study early childhood and care. My fascination for biological science has been
longstanding and persistent. Ever since my school days I have enjoyed studying biology and
have had an inclination for connection between a child mind and child body and desire to know
more, from which, I drew the inspiration to imbibe the true spirit of biological science (early
childhood and care) in a prestigious institution such as Australian Institute of Business and
Technology.

INTRODUCTION

This is Kajol Chand, a citizen of naturally beautiful country Nepal holding the passport no:
0000000 and local resident of Lalitpur-2, Nepal. I was born on March 2, 1998. My statement of
purpose briefly describes about my purpose of studying Certificate III and Diploma in Early
Childhood and Care at Australian Institute of Business and Technology (AIBT), Sydney. And it
also describes my future interest after completion of diploma course in AIBT and the search I
have done to choose this course along with my academic qualification and my career plan.

PREVIOUS STUDY

Looking at my educational background, I have completed my School Leaving Certificate (SLC)

on June 2014 from Shree Shringery Community Secondary School, Lamatar, Lalitpur with
77.25%. After completion of my SLC, I have chosen science faculty with major subject Biology,
Physics and Chemistry to open my future career. My love in biology had started from my
childhood. I am always interested in human body and its structure. At high school my interest
became more focused although I was not good in physics and chemistry. Following my career I
joined Higher Secondary studies at Gems Institutions of Higher Secondary School (GIHE),
Dhapakhel, Lalitpur. Likewise, I completed my Higher Secondary Examination Board on
December 2016 with an aggregate of 60.70%.

After completion of Higher Secondary Examination Board (HSEB), I planned to study abroad. I
started to search English speaking countries for further study, I had searched many countries
such as Australia, U.S.A, U.K, Canada, New Zealand but among these I have found Australia as
the best country for me. Australia is one of the best and popular destinations for international
students as well as it has all the facilities that any international students need while studying so I

1
have decided to study in Australia. For this, I have searched different colleges and universities
and found that AIBT as the best one for me because it has been providing the course that I am
looking for. I would be explaining more in detail about my reasons for choosing Australia and
AIBT in subsequent paragraphs With AIBT I looked upon my desired course i.e. certificate III in
early childhood and care and found out the requirements as 60% with minimum 5.0 in IELTS
academic. Similarly with higher course i.e. Diploma in Early childhood and care the
requirements were an academic of 60% and English proficiency with minimum 5.5 score. As I
lacked fundamental and foundations knowledge with early childhood and child care I made up
my mind studying certificate III and jumping on to higher levels until completing bachelor’s in
Australia. I had the mindset and had my academic percentage ready but had to give my English
proficiency examination. Henceforth, I started preparing for Pearson Test of English Academic
(PTE-A) and after extensive preparation I took my examination on December 12, 2016 upon
which I score 46 out of 90. My sub sections scores are as follows; Speaking-38, Reading-44,
Writing- 51, and Listening-50. Comparing it head to head with IELTS test, 42 in PTE-A is 5.5 in
IELTS whereas 50 in PTE-A is 6.0 in IELTS. Hence, my score of 46 is an overall band score of
5.5 in IELTS and heading towards 6.0 in IELTS.

REASONS TO CHOOSE AUSTRALIA

Australia has been recognized as a knowledge center with rich study traditions and well-known
Colleges/Universities. The Australian educational system is famous for helping students to
develop their own professional individuality. International students from all over the world come
to study in Australia. The policy of quality education when matched with affordable tuition fees
for majority of the courses and other expenses for those who come to study in Australia are main
reasons to choose Australia for. Due to its geographic and economic position in continental
Australia, Australia is often described as the ‘power-house of Oceania’. Many international
companies have departments in Australia due to the favorable economic conditions. This feature
helps students at Australian Universities by opening up possibilities to gain internships at many
of these companies and allowing them to create their own professional networks for their future
careers. This entire factor lured me into applying for Australia for my further studies. In
Australia the diversity of ethnicity nationally, faith and thoughts is something that I want to
experience in the time I study which I lack in my home country. Australian education is globally
recognized which will make my future career opportunities higher. Moreover, the cost of living
in Australia is actually excellent and we cannot forget the beautiful weather, coastlines and
landscapes too which attracts me more and also and high standard of living. Australia is global
education hub for international student where students from different countries come to get their
degree and tries to achieve the best in their careers. Being a diverse and a multicultural country
allows the new international students to adjust easily and also helps them learn about different
cultures and religions, which help them, build up their character.

There are many countries worldwide to choose upon for education after high school. Some of
worldwide destination countries famous for students all over the world are U.S.A, U.K, New
Zealand, Canada and so on. But Australia has many contributing factor that attracts students like
me more towards their geography. I personally and strongly believe that studying abroad can
broaden our horizon towards best chances and opportunities. So, believing in this philosophy I

2
started doing research in different English speaking countries of the world not leaving behind
studying my home country Nepal too. Finally, I came to know that Australian colleges and
universities offer early childhood course from basic to advance level. Australia is currently the
third most popular destination for international students in English-speaking world, behind the
United States and the U.K. Institutions of Australia provide various courses and degree so that
international students can easily find the colleges and the fields that are right for them. Australian
education is recognized world-widely. One of the most appealing aspects of this country for
international students is the quality of scientific research. Australia is at the forefront of new
technology and innovations. Students who study in Australia can take advantages of the
country’s impressive technology and research resources. Australia’s standard of living is
amongst the highest in the world. Living expenses and tuition costs are considerably lower in
Australia than in the United States and the United Kingdom. International students are able to
work part time while they study, allowing them to offset their living costs.

Most of the people think Australia as a green pastures, Kangaroos, kolas and clean air and water.
However, Australia has so much more to offer to the international students. Universities in
Australia are just like other universities of developed countries, it tends to promote practical
education. In 2015 A.D, around 645,185 international students were enrolled to educational
programs in Australia. Of these, there were 272,095 international students enrolled to the higher
education sector. When it comes to safety of international students it is also regarded as the one
of the safeties country in the world and the friendliest education destination for international
students. According to the world economic forum 2016: Australia comes among top 20 most
safest country for international students in the world with the rating of 6.24. Australian
government provides many friendly policies to international students like ESOS (Education
Services of Overseas Students) Act 2000.

Australian colleges and universities also provide Vocational Education and Training (VET)
courses, which focus in practical and technical skills needed in the workplace. They include
certificates I to IV, diplomas and advanced diplomas, and are offered by TAFE institutes, private
collages and organizations, and universities that teach both VET and higher education course.
The main focus of VET is to provide practical skills that mean they are generally more ‘hand-on’
than higher education course, which tends to have a greater focus on theory. VET courses are
primarily offered by Registered Training Organizations (RTOs). This provides quality training
deliver courses developed with industrial needs and issues nationally recognized qualifications.
VET courses have entry requirements to continue further study in Australia with the help of
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) scheme.

WHY NOT NEPAL?

I now believe firmly that the childhood care and education should be the biggest priority of every
country. In such a scenario, the developing countries face the biggest challenge. Undoubtedly,
the development of understanding that children are the backbone and future of nation’s economy
has enabled addition of courses such as early childhood and care in developed countries such as
Australia. However, quite clearly, if you see the focus of Nepal’s government, it still has 5-year

3
plan to give primary education to all children i.e. compulsory education until class 5. Thus, the
question of care and education for early stages of child in a question yet to incur as something
important when it comes to Nepalese mind. The part of early childhood and care studies is left
for seminar discussions. I want to make sure that we develop equally in terms of industrial
development and childhood management.

Of course, what the country needs today is quite relevant to youths like me. I would like to
contribute to the cause after I finish my study. The skills and knowledge I will acquire during my
studies at the Australian colleges first and Universities later will be very valuable to the
realization of childhood development in Nepal. Nepal is still a developing country. The main
reason for not studying in Nepal is that it lacks proper education system and is still ruled by
traditional method of teaching and learning. I have searched for many Colleges and Universities
in Nepal. Some of them were Kathmandu University, Pokhara University, Tribhuvan University,
Purbanchal University and so on. Actually, I am good here with the fees and feeling of home
country when it comes to studying here but when compared globally I was really disappointed.
Tribhuvan University (TU) is known as the best and top University in Nepal but when compared
globally, TU degree comes under 4521 in world ranking. So, it is really disheartening fact for a
Nepali student who wants quality education in home. Besides the ranking the focus is totally on
theoretical education which is acceptable for subjects such as political science but not much in
subjects such as early childhood and care. The syllabus in most of Nepalese Universities with
most of programs/courses are out and most of the teaching happen in same way as it used to be
some 15 -20 years back. Also, Nepalese education system lack proper budget, education
material, and technical support as know-how. As such I will be better off studying in Australia
which would give me advance tools, techniques and moreover the mentality to get practical
knowledge. Therefore, I have decided to study in Australia, which provides meritorious teaching
system and splendid environment.

REASONS FOR NOT CHOOSING OTHER COUNTRIES

The ultimate decision to choose is also a journey of many hardships. When it comes to abroad
education I have researched significantly and have consulted with my parents, agents, and
friends studying abroad in different countries too. After much of research and making a rational
choice I made up my mind to study in Australia rather than other countries of the worlds. In my
view the country U.S.A has limitless possibilities, freedom and so on. Australia is recognized as
the safe place for international students and the crime rate is considerably lower than other
countries. The weather and environmental condition of Australia is pretty much similar to my
hometown making me easier to adapt to. The reason behind not choosing European countries is
due to lack of clear policy and right protection act such as ESOS act present in Australia for
international students. Also in most of European countries except for U.K language is still a
barrier to socialize and adapt to. Canada recently is more towards internationalization and open
to international students but when compared with tuition fees with similar degrees compared in
Australia the fees are much higher also the climatic factor of Canada being a cold nation with ice

4
covering most parts of country for more than 4-5 months attracted me much towards Australia.
Also, I did not choose Asian countries because almost all Asian countries have same kinds of
course structure and lack of infrastructure and facilities with no kinds of Tuition Protective
Scheme policy as in Australia. The fees structures, languages and climatic condition are also
taken in consideration behind not choosing those countries. The policy for international students
is not mentioned clearly and the political issue is right on the top. U.S.A is a good country to
choose upon but when compared with safety, closeness and environmental factors along with
political factors such as Trump’s policy towards immigrants and international students
determined me to choose Australia. Beside these, U.S.A lacks ESOS act with TPS services for
international students. The transportation system is not so good and expensive when compared
with Australia. Though the education in Japan is quite good but there will be problem of
language for the international students and also I have to go through many language courses like
NAT, JLPT, etc. which will be burden for me. So, I choose Australia among the other country
for my further studies. The main reason of my intention to study in Australia is certainly to attain
a world-class biological science education in early childhood and care. The education system
here (in Nepal) is more like a theoretical than practical experience that you can’t use in a real
life. I have recently completed higher secondary education in science with biology as a major
subject and am very keen to develop my knowledge and skills further in this area.

REASON TO CHOOSE SYDNEY

Australia is the country of the beautiful cities such as Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and the
capital Canberra but I strongly want to purse my dream in city Sydney. Sydney, the capital of
New South Wales and one of Australia's largest cities, is best known for its harbor front Sydney
Opera House, with a distinctive sail-like design. It’s the largest and one of the oldest city with
the population around 4 million according to 2012 United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD).
Sydney is built around a huge harbor and hosts many tourist attractions as well as a number of
beaches, bays and a couple of national parks. Well there are many reasons to choose Sydney for.
To study away from home country is not a single day story one has to adapt and adjust to the city
for years. Thus, the city, which I have chosen upon to stay for upcoming years, has a lot to offer
for study and recreation too. Sydney has the deepest natural harbor around the world and
receives over 10 million international as well as domestic visitors each and every year for its
beaches. It is a gateway to Australia for many international visitors. It has hosted over 2.8
million international visitors in 2013, or nearly half of all international visits to Australia.
Despite being one of the most expensive cities in the world, the 2014 Mercer Quality of Living
Survey ranks Sydney tenth in the world in terms of quality of living, making it one of the most
livable cities and mostly important. Sydney is the best destination for education seeker especially
for education in childhood and care and the availability of wide range of flexible and career
oriented courses. Among different cities of Australia, I choose Sydney because of its chilled
summer and mild weather. Melbourne is colder than Sydney. The climatic condition of Sydney is
similar to my hometown.

5
Moreover, Sydney has more opportunity for international students to live on than to live on cities
such as Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane etc. Although the living cost is little higher but when
compared with the living standard and opportunity to advance I prefer Sydney to others. Also
Sydney offers much of cultural diversity that gives me chance to interact with people of different
cultural background and learn from. Likewise, Sydney itself has all those facilities and
environment, which helps international students to study in a peaceful environment.

REASON TO CHOOSE AIBT

After completion of Intermediate level I have keen interest in Biological science (e.g. Child
care). Biological science is a growing field in my home country and taking this into
consideration I will be able to get the most out of this field regarding career wise and future
development. As I looked for colleges/Universities that offered such a course of curriculum, I
was elated when I bumped into AIBT’s website. Needless to say, I was very frustrated when I
couldn’t find such a course in Nepal, I decided to search abroad and luckily I learnt that AIBT
offers such courses with affordable fees and excellent learning environment.

I researched on various colleges/universities of Australia and I found the matching to me at

AIBT college that is what I am looking for best for me in terms of course content, location
moreover among the college/University research by me I choose AIBT because it provides the
course I am interested in which. Besides AIBT strong emphasis on core courses will help
develop my theoretical and practical knowledge on different program as that is something I look
and also AIBT course is vast and practically oriented. Most importantly the curriculum and
infrastructure are latest while the faculty is up-to-date and result-oriented. Therefore I have
decided to study in AIBT.

Australian Institute of Business and Technology located at Suite C3.10 Level 3, 22 Mountain
Street, Ultimo, Sydney, NSW 2007 is a professional colleges offering professional courses,
certificates, diplomas and advanced diplomas to both domestic and international students. AIBT
offers course in affordable prices. This allows better opportunities for students and especially for
those who come from low-income background. AIBT class sizes are smaller than other colleges,
which mean face-to-face interaction between teacher and students is always a thing of. At AIBT,
students can access free computer and unlimited Wi-Fi all time when they are in college
premises. AIBT have highly qualified trainers and staff with long experience in teaching and
research in both Australia and overseas. AIBT not only focuses on growing leaners academic
potential but also on their personal growth and specific needed. The trainers and administrative
staff provide learners one-to-one support and counseling services if required and can develop
intervention strategy accordingly if students are at risk of not completing their course or have
some cultural shocks. Student’s support and counseling services provided by AIBT also give
opportunity to better understand international student situation and gives the possibilities of
bringing positive change within the students. AIBT welcome all the domestic and international
students who are looking for their better career in AIBT.

6
Australian Institute of Business and Technology (AIBT) is a registered training organization
(RTO) for delivering vocational education and training (VET) course for domestic students in all
states and territories in Australia. The courses and qualification provided by AIBT are nationally
recognized in Australia and comply with Standards for National VET Regulator (NVR) and VET
Quality Framework (VQR) for both international and domestic students, and with Education
services for overseas students (ESOS) Act 2000 and The National Code 2007 for international
students.

WHY NOT OTHER COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY?

I have researched on numerous Universities and colleges in Australia such as HIBT, ATMC,
ZBA, Kings Own Institute, UTS, Raffles, Holmes, Equals, Cass Training, Metro City Institute
and university like Charles Darwin University, University of Wollongong, Charles Strut
University, James Crook University, Federation University, Deakin University, Victoria
University, Central Queens land University, University of Southern Queensland, Insearch,
Latrobe University, Griffith University, Macquarie University, Australian Catholic University,
Strathfield Colleges for same course in early childhood and care. These colleges and universities
are also in Sydney but while comparing to different aspects like course structure, location, fees,
and so on. I found that AIBT is suitable for me. Though the colleges and Universities in
Australia all are top ranked and no matter where you land on you would have definite future and
get quality education, still even a small decision with me requires planning and a big decision as
such studying abroad and choosing colleges/universities were made upon vigorous plan and
research. However, with education system and almost similar structures of courses and
orientation I found AIBT is more suitable for several reasons AIBT provides flexible quarterly
workshops so that we don’t miss out on the benefits of face-to-face learning, it has multiple
locations with campuses in Sydney and Brisbane. AIBT students can travel around the globe to
complete their assignments and projects. And also it has conducted a motivated program for
international student but I couldn’t found these facilities in University of Wollongong and
Charles Strut University. While I was searching more about University of Wollongong and
Charles Strut University I couldn’t find affordable fees structure as compare to AIBT and also
the class room are smaller which means increasing face to face interaction which eventually
increase the academic performance which I didn’t found in other colleges. I found AIBT as
caring for students and staffs, Integrity, Transparency and so on as well as the environment
surrounded by AIBT is peaceful and the infrastructures and facilities provided by AIBT is handy
to use and learn. AIBT would teach my desired course through various delivery methods such as
written assignments, presentations, and portfolios of work, role-plays and projects.

Why Diploma /VET why not Bachelor’s?

As, a student I had a choice to make from VET and Bachelor’s. VET stands for Vocational
Education and Training Course that is a practical or skill based education. Therefore, I weighted
the pros and cons of both these courses. Finally, because VET courses matched my interest and

7
offered significant advantage over bachelor I choose it for my further education. As mentioned
earlier Nepal, being one of the least developed countries is more focused on theoretical
education. Also, the subject I am choosing is very practical and requires extensive teaching and
intensive practical with VET my objective seemed similar. I just know what is childcare and
have rough idea on what early childhood should be. Some of the subjects I would be studying
will be establishing safe and healthy environment for children sounds familiar but how - -I have
no idea of. Others subjects seem more interesting but have zero knowledge on it e.g. analyze
information to inform learning. Hence, I have no earlier studies related to childcare I just have
my motivation, passion and desire in childcare and its industry. Also bachelors education is very
practical even in countries such as Australia when compared to VET courses and also when
comparing with fee structure, affordability, flexibility and ability to use RPL later on I choose
VET over bachelor’s. Also, being international students, I don’t have any knowledge about
western education system so diploma program will help me to know more about Australian
education system and helps me to build my foundation strong. VET courses will make my
foundation stronger and also helps me to understand childcare education system for further
continue my bachelor degree in Australia. VET course also meets my admission requirements
along with affordable fees and appropriate time period.

WHY THIS COURSE?

A famous quote by William Wordsworth says, “The Child is Father of the man?” This quote has
many interpretations but with me my understanding goes this way-If we are children at heart, we
can win the world, we can enjoy the world and we can find light in darkness and happiness in
sadness. As such, I consider childhood the best stage for a man’s development. If one has a good
childhood I bet one would definitely find better adulthood one-way or other. While I was
studying in Lalitpur city, I have noticed that most of the teachers here are very strict and the
education system of our country is very old and unpractical. Many parents put pressures and
expectations on the children hoping them to be successful. Because of this my childhood was
stressful. Since I was a child, I have always been a curious child who loved to read, learn, and
experience new things. I had that spark everyday where I was always excited of what the day
would bring and was eager to know what I would be able to learn that single day. Because of
this, I always want to take care of children and make their childhood stress-free. So, this is what
motivates me to be in the field of childhood education and care.

I am motivated to pursue a degree in education; childhood education in particular. I believe that

all children are curious, smart, and eager to learn; and that with the help of a good teacher, each
child can shine with a light of his or her own. By applying to graduate school, I want to learn
more professional and specialized knowledge and more teaching methods. I am eager to learn
how to improve the learning environments of children and how I can inspire children to want to
learn more. The world we live now is a globalized world, and I wish to research on how to create
more innovative and creative educational settings. My dream for children across the world is
their ability to interact with each other’s and to learn from each other. Sometimes, as adults, our

8
views become limited and we find it hard to see things from a different light. Since we ourselves
learn so much from children, children should be able to learn from other children as well. I am
also eager to get to know people who share my passion and my views. I remember a quote by
Audrey Hepburn that I would like to realize: "Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, it's at
the end of your arm, as you get older, remember you have another hand: The first is to help
yourself, the second is to help others". I have had the chance to learn from many teachers, and
this time, I would like to extend my hand and help children to be able to shine. Early childhood
education graduates have a wide number of career paths to choose from. After graduating with a
bachelor’s degree some people give the teaching license exam, which opens up countless
opportunities at public and private schools, pre-schools, kindergartens and day care centers.
Others who graduate with a Master’s degree normally obtain a position as a school or
educational program administrator. They also have the choice of continuing their education, and
carrying out research work in early childhood education in order to address the critical issues in
this field. After three to four years of research work, students submit their thesis to professors for
approval, and defend their work and findings at a public dissertation. Thereafter, they are
awarded they PhD or Doctoral degree of Early Childhood Education, which opens up countless
opportunities in the academic and research sector at colleges, universities and research
organizations throughout the world. This course also helps us in many ways like; The ability to
promote the healthy development of children, How to create appropriate learning environments
for young children, Multi-tasking, collaboration with parents and families, Teamwork and
leadership, Active listening with patience and empathy, Awareness of special needs and cultural
differences, Knowledge of how children learn, Self-confidence and self-understanding, An
understanding of the different domains of child development, Speaking and presentation skills
and so on. Those who work as early childhood teacher enjoy the benefits of regular hours, a
salary (which will increase over time), benefits, and the ability to plan for the future with a
degree of confidence.

CAREER PLANS

After I complete certificate III and diploma course in early childhood education and care, I will
look forward to continue my Bachelor’s degree on the same field with credit transfer through
RPL scheme in University of Sydney. From my research I found some of the best universities for
my course for Instance, University of Wollongong, Southern Cross University, Central
Queensland University, Western Sydney University as well as University of Sydney. But, I have
planned to study in University of Sydney because I found this University very promising to offer
the course I am looking for at a very affordable fees structure. Besides, I have also found that
AIBT students have easy access to this University and I am very much impressed of its
commitment for assisting the international students with effect methods of teaching. After
completion of my bachelor degree program I have plan to apply for PSW (Post Study Work) visa
which would last for 2 years, which is provided by Australian government and has made
provision for degree holder students which would give a big break on my life as I would able to

9
gain experience and opportunity to evaluate and implement my knowledge and skills earned so
far. This opportunity would help me to apply my knowledge in early childhood and care based
system, which would cover human skills. I had also planned to work in Australia at Bear
Childcare Centers as early childhood teacher which is at Alkoomie St, Beverly Hills NSW 2209,
Australia. Bear Childcare is Christian based long day care centers, who pride themselves on their
homey, loving and caring centers, which have Exceeding Ratings in A&R. Strong skills in
communication, teamwork, EYLF, and passion for this industry is the person. I had plan to work
on The Hills Grammar School which is located in 43 Kenthurst Rd, Kenthurst NSW 2156,
Australia. The Hills Grammar School is an independent, co-educational, non-sectarian, day
school. Established in 1982, the school has a non-selective enrolment policy and currently caters
for over 1,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. In 2010, the school opened the Early
Childhood Education Centre (ECEC), catering for 3–4 year olds. Main intake years are ECEC,
Kindergarten, Year 7, and Year 11. Then I would come back to my hometown. After back to my
home town I am planning to work as early childhood educator in any of following schools
British school, Mother care International pre-school, Mills Berry International pre-school,
Kinderpillar pre-school, Ullen’s kindergarten as well as I can even work in NGO, INGO as an
child care manager as there is wider scopes of this course in Nepal. Likewise I even can establish
the childhood training center where I can explore my knowledge and experience and give a
people a well training about the international practice of early childhood. So, I think it will be the
best field to apply my acquired knowledge and efficiency.

I have heard and read that the Universities in Australia prepare and make the student job ready
when they graduate. This is what inspires me to study in Australian educational institutions.
Also, as the scope of biological science (e.g. child care) in developing country Nepal is growing
every day, I would like to see myself as an graduate from a world class education provider and
ready to serve the nation in the field of child care specifically in community care industry. I am
confident that the education and skills that I will obtain in Australia will help me getting a good
job in one of the leading community care company’s here in Nepal.

The programs of early childhood and care will update and extend my basic knowledge of
concept of childcare into concept of how to increase child’s creativity and foster productivity and
also give best childhood times. This internationally recognized degree could help advance my
career in diverse fields such as Children’s service director, Nanny, Childcare worker, children’s
adviser, child development worker and so on. This program develops my capacity to manage the
functional responsibility. The university has great reputation for my subject. Nevertheless, I have
already decided to devote my time and energy in development of child and education of child.

My overall educational goal is to learn the applied aspects of education and childcare. I would
like to be familiar with all dimensions of the subject; theoretical and practical. I will upon
completion of study in AIBT and most likely University of Sydney and after using my PSW, I
would definitely return to my country to serve her better through latest practical and relevant
skills learnt in the Australia.

ABOUT SPONSORS

Speaking the truth in simple English, even dreams cost money. My dream of getting a world-
class education in a world-class country also is not free from money. As such, my dream of
studying abroad is all backed by my financial strength of my sponsor’s. I share a special relation
with my family and my family is the driving force, which gives me strength to pursue my
dreams. Both my parents (father and mother) are my key sponsors. My father is the permanent
teacher of Shree Shringery School and has salary of NRs. 4,61,500 per year and my Mother is
also a teacher of Shree Shringery School and has salary of NRs. 4,61,500 per year. Along with
their income sources, my father also has saving balance of NRs. 2,703,553.00 at Everest Bank
Ltd. Furthermore; we hold ample land and properties as showed in property documents. This
makes me feel safe and secure and also lands me in mental peace where I just have to focus on
my education now and my sponsors would all help me with my education.

ACCOMODATION

While looking for accommodation, I found AIBT provides accommodation services to their
international students through shared accommodation. So, I have planned to live in shared
accommodation provided by college. This would help me get easy access to know more about
Australian culture and also would save lot of my time for study, which I can engage, somewhere.
Also, as a mover to new country, new place and new society I am personally happy and my
parent’s safe to hear that accommodation can be managed sitting here in Nepal and am thankful
to college for helping out in those services which can be burdensome for a first timer moving on
a new land.

VISA CONDITIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDETNTS

As international students I need to know following visa conditions some of which are:

CONCLUSION

I hope I have included all the information in relation to my interest to study Certificate III and
Diploma in Early Childhood and Care in AIBT, Sydney and in Australia. I believe I have made a
right decision to studying in AIBT in Australia. So I hope to be considered for my visa
application. I will be very grateful and thankful to you if you granted my visa to pursue my
career in Australia.

Thank you for your kind attention and I really appreciate your support in this regard.

Yours sincerely
