APPRECIATION DAY

A blessed morning to everyone! This morning’s event marks as one

of the most awaited special event not only for our dear pupils but also to
our proud and supportive parents.
To our ever dynamic School Principal, Mrs. Cherrylyn H. Dayao, to
our highly competent and deeply motivated members of Grade __ teachers
of LMES, to the proud and loving parents; pupils ladies and gentlemen, a
pleasant afternoon…… Welcome to the Grade 6 SECOND QUARTER
APPRECIATION DAY.

PROGRAM PROPER….
To formally start our program, may I request everyone to please
stand for the singing of our National Anthem and the Baccor Hymn,
followed by a short prayer to be led by Mr. Ricson P. Soriano, a Grade Six
Math Teacher.

INTRODUCTION….
I do believe that the secrets behind this significant event are not only
the teachers, who have rendered their invaluable service by guiding these
pupils to the right path, but also the parents who give them the support
morally, love and encouragement in every activity in our school.

WELCOME REMARKS
Education makes people easy to lead, but difficult to drive; easy to
govern but impossible to enslave.” This quote aptly testifies to the
importance of education. Education encompasses both the teaching and
learning of knowledge, proper conduct and technical competency. Learning
includes the moral values and improvement of character and methods to
increase the strength of mind.

INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE

A person that gets education will be more open to the avenues for
life of his choice. An educated person will be a better citizen and an able
decision-maker. This is the reason why people always prefer an educated
or more educated person over an uneducated or less educated person for
employment purposes even to do a job which does not require much of
education, like a office attendant or a domestic help.

Thank you very much for that very inspiring and insightful messages
you imparted this morning/afternoon. Your words will surely guide our
pupils in their lives. May your messages motivate them to strive harder.

AWARDING OF CERTIFICATES BY SCETION….

Pupil achievement is the measurement of the amount of academic

content a student learns in a given time frame. Each instruction level has
specific standards or goals that educators must teach to their pupils.
Achievement is usually assessed through frequent progress and
comprehension checks and examinations, however, there is no consensus
on how it is best evaluated or which elements of it are most important.

CLOSING…..

There are many variables that can impact successful student achievement,
but the most critical are classroom instruction and learning disabilities. It is
important to remember that all students do not learn the same way or at
the same rate. Students are like leaves on a tree; there are no two exactly
the same. Just as a leaf comes in unique colors, shapes and sizes, each
student has their own unique learning style. You must use a variety of
teaching methods and understand the background and individual needs of
each student.
