Plan of Action and Budget Overview

• Plan of Action: A sequence of steps that must be


taken, or activities that must be performed well,
for a strategy to succeed.

• Budget: An estimate of costs, revenues, and


resources over a specified period, including future
financial conditions and goals.
Budget Implementation

• Preparation: The Board estimates expenses


according to the Plan of Action.
• Approval: General Assembly approves the proposal.
• Records: For legal and transparency reasons.
• Reviews: Monthly report, projections and
adjustments.
Engagement Activity

In this activity, you will explore the importance


of knowledge transfer. You will brainstorm in
small groups using case studies, then work
through the case by simulating an officer
position, and finally debrief all together.
Succession Planning
• Start Early: Those in leadership roles
should start finding their replacements at
the beginning of the year.
• Transfer Knowledge: Involve the
successors for an easy transition.
