简介：德国可持续发展高等研究所高级研究员，“人类世的智识模式”
研究部负责人，“协同创新与当代政策咨询”研究部合作负责人。德国
费森尤斯应用科学大学（汉堡、柏林）客座教授，法国马赛跨学科纳米
科学中心客座科学家。社会职务包括：罗马俱乐部德国分部、智囊30
成员，德国科学家协会会员，法兰克福未来理事会“全球变革”工作组
成员，全球契约基金会董事会成员，德国生态社会论坛发起人，瓜迪尼
基金会：“艺术、信仰与科学对话”发起人等。参与主持“二氧化碳再
利用的社会潜力”,“跨学科视野下的气候工程微观世界研究”，“可
持续发展的场域与领导力”等系列跨学科重点项目。主要研究领域包括
：跨学科研究，人类世研究，可持续发展，系统科学，地球科学，纳米
技术，科学与哲学对话等。

Guest speaker:
Dr Thomas Bruhn is a physicist who has been working transdisciplinarily at
the IASS since 2012. His research initially focused on climate engineering
and CO2 utilisation. In 2016 he began to co-lead the AMA (A Mindset for the
Anthropocene) project together with Dr Zoe Lüthi on the question how the
cultivation of mental qualities like mindfulness and compassion can
contribute to sustainability. He has also been engaged in research on collec-
tive learning and co-creation in the context of political decision-making for
sustainability since 2017. Thomas’ key ambition is to bring together a
variety of stakeholders in reflexive processes that allow for the emergence
of truly shared perspectives and action pathways for a context-specific
implementation of specific sustainability targets.
Before joining the IASS, Thomas did research on semiconductor nanomate-
rials in Berlin, Rome, and Marseille. Besides his research work, he is also a
trained facilitator and regularly conducts group processes in the tradition of
Art-of-Hosting and Design Thinking. He is a member of the thinktank30
(tt30) of the Club of Rome, the German Association of Scientists (VDW), and
the board of directors of the Global Contract Foundation.

简介：国家二级心理咨询师（2006）、德国可持续发展高等研究所研
究员，“人类世的智识模式”研究部核心研究成员，东西方对话：科学
与艺术系列沙龙发起者，在德华人成长与沟通团体带领者。长期致力于
心理学与公共治理的跨学科、跨文化思考与实践，探索心理动力团体、
冥想、家庭系统治疗等心理发展理念与技术在参与式沟通、组织有机发
展及社会治理中的应用。主要社会职务：中国心理学会社会心理学分会
会员，中美高级精神分析连续培训项目塔维斯托克模式团体组受训学员
，欧洲精神分析联盟基本精神分析概念研讨项目个人体验教师，北京师
范大学“彩烛工程”西部地区中小学校长培训特聘讲师，中国社会工作
教育协会第四期萨提亚家庭治疗模式临床培训课程助教，清华大学应急
管理研究基地兼职研究人员，北京城市科学研究会理事，公共安全科学
技术学会会员等。

Guest speaker:
Man Fang joined the IASS in January 2018 as a Fellow. She is working on the
transformation of knowledge to practice based on her Ph.D. research on risk
perception with an intercultural perspective and focusing on values ethics
and moral concerns in risk governance. She published scientific papers,
blogs and essays and gave many workshops and presentations, aiming at
developing self-awareness and ethical concern in policy-making procedure.
Her main objective is to enhance the sustainability of the managers and
officials with respect to risk governance and emergency management orga-
nizations. Within the structure of IASS, Man Fang is working with both
Systemic Risk group and AMA project group, based on the empirical study
on values and ethical issues in risk governance. Her work integrates the
western and eastern philosophy and methodology in order to explore a
new mindset suitable for coping with the Risk Society. Such an approach
starts with a personal transformation: from inner mindfulness to outside
harmony and safety, and extends the individual sphere to society as a
whole and inspires the transition from knowledge to action.
关于罗马俱乐部：

罗马俱乐部是关于未来学研究的国际性民间学术团体，也是一个研讨全
球问题的全球顶级智囊组织。其主要创始人是意大利的著名实业家、学
者A.佩切伊和英国科学家A.金。俱乐部的宗旨是研究未来的科学技术革
命对人类发展的影响，阐明人类面临的主要困难以引起政策制订者和舆
论的注意。目前主要从事有关全球性问题的宣传、预测和研究活动。成
立于1968年4月，总部设在意大利罗马。2018年10月，罗马俱乐部继
《增长的极限》之后的又一力作《ComeOn》中文版在北京大学和同济
大学举行新书发布会。该书中文版书名为《翻转极限》，是罗马俱乐部
时隔40多年后的又一部集体智慧的著述。也是呈献给罗马俱乐部50年
的纪念之作。

the book is titled "Flipping Limits", which is another book of collective
wisdom written by The Club of Rome more than 40 years later. It is also a
commemorative work dedicated to the club of Rome for 50 years.
