Important Instructions
1. Your candidature to the examination is provisional.

2. The candidate is required to bring and produce the identity proof before the Invigilator in the Examination Hall.

3. The candidate is required to paste one passport size photograph on the admit card (coloured) preferably same which
was used during the registration.

4. The candidate must report at exam center at least 1 hour prior to the commencement of examination.

5. Mobile phones or any other communication devices such as Bluetooth devices, etc are not allowed inside the premises
where the examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action
including ban from future examinations.

6. Candidates are advised to bring blue/black ball point pen to the examination hall for all objective type papers.

7. Check the admit card carefully and bring discrepancies, if any, to the notice of the respective Sainik School
immediately.

8. Mention your name, roll number, name and year of the examination in all correspondence with the respective Sainik
School.

9. Bring this admit card to secure admission to examination hall.

10. Enter the examination hall 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the examination.

11. Candidates should note that any omission/mistake/discrepancy in encoding lling in details in the OMR answer sheet,
especially with regard to roll number, exam center code, OMR responses and test booklet series code, will render the

answer sheet liable for rejection.

12. You will not be admitted to the examination, if you report 10 minutes after the scheduled commencement of the
examination.

13. The candidates will only sit on the seats allotted to them and are not allowed to change their seats or examination
halls.

14. Candidates are not allowed to bring any baggage/luggage to the venue of the examination. The Centre Superintendent
shall not be responsible for the loss of any such belongings of the candidates.

15. The candidates will be given the OMR based answer sheets, 15 minutes before the commencement of the
examination. They are required to ll up their particulars in the OMR answer sheet by using blue/black ball point pen
only. Use of pencil or any other writing material is not allowed.

16. The test booklet will be supplied 15 minutes before the commencement of the examination. The candidates are not
allowed to open the test booklets before the scheduled time for the examination.

17. They are required to check carefully that the test booklet number is printed on the cover page and the test booklet
contains such number of pages as mentioned in the cover page.

18. In case of any discrepancy, they should immediately report the matter to the Invigilator.

19. The candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall before the,Question Paper Booklets and the OMR Answer
sheets are collected and counted by the Invigilator.

20. The candidates are required to strictly adhere to the rules of examination. Any candidate found to have resorted to
unfair means or misconduct in the examination hall shall be expelled from the examination hall on the spot and his
candidature shall be cancelled.

21. The result of the Entrance Test does not ensure the con rmation and guarantee of admitting the student to a Sainik
School, as it is subject to veri cation of the authenticity and appropriateness of the documents at the time of
Admission. If any discrepancy is found at the time of admission, he will forfeit his seat.

22. There would be NO negative marking for a wrong response as well as if more than one response is given to a single
question. However, more than one response for a question shall be treated as a wrong response.

23. Once the test is over, candidates are required to return the original as well as carbon copy of the OMR Answer Sheet to
the invigilators without fail.

24. Candidates must bring Blue or Black point pen for the Examination for lling up the entries on OMR Answer Sheet.

25. Candidates should completely darken the CIRCLE so that the alphabet inside the CIRCLE is not visible. Darken only one
circle for each answer. The CORRECT and the WRONG method of darkening the CIRCLE on the OMR answer sheet are
given in the example below:

26. You are responsible for safe custody of the admit card and in the event of any other person using this admit card, the
onus lies on you to prove that you have not used the service of any impersonator.

27. If you appear at examination center other than the one indicated in your admit card, your answer booklet will not be
evaluated.
