616 Grossman, Henryk born to an assimilated family in Krakow. Graduated from Krakow
University as doctor of law. Participaed in the Jewish social democratic movement in
Galicia. Cofounder of the Social Democrat in 1905. Published a broshure What do we
want? in 1905. In 1906 Bundism in Galicia. In 1908 moved away from the Jewish social
democratic movement and settled in Vienna. During the World War was economic
correspondent in Poland. In 1916 published a volume of Austriann statitistics. After the
establishment of independent Poland was head of statistical office.
