SAFI Institute of Advanced Study (SIAS) is a centre for research and higher education. It is the
academic wing of Social Advancement Foundation of India (SAFI). SIAS is partly residential and is
located on a vast campus , 22 Kms away from Kozhikode City towards Calicut Airport. Along with the
management, a dynamic team of teachers and scientists contribute significantly to the fulfillment of
the academic programmes. SIAS possesses state of art laboratories and an excellent library.
Founded in August 29, 2005, the Institute is housed in a sprawling building in a lush green backdrop
and serene and picturesque environment. The Institute is particularly committed to serve the
economically weak, socially underprivileged and needy students. SIAS envisages total personality
development and generation of manpower capable of providing leadership and direction at the
cutting edge in science and technology as well as management, commerce and other areas of
humanities studies.

SIAS Information Centre at Calicut City (KRS Plaza, Opp. KSRTC Bus Stand, Mavoor
Road, Calicut. Ph: 0495-4190959, 9895099081).
4. Application form and prospectus can also be downloaded from website
www.siasindia.org in which case, a demand draft for Rs.200/- (per application) is to be
enclosed along with the filled in application. The DD is to be drawn in favour of “SAFI Institute
of Advanced Study” payable at State Bank of Travancore, Cherukavu Branch and is to be
sent along with the filled in application. The name of the applicant and the purpose of
re-mittance should be written on the reverse side of the demand draft.
5. The application form should reach the office of the Principal, Safi Institute of Advanced
Study, Rasiya Nagar, Vazhayoor East.P.O., Malappuram-673633, Kerala State, India before
the notified date. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
6. Applicants should enclose attested copies of the following documents:
i Copy of Mark List
ii Copy of pass certificate of qualifying examination
7. Applicants for PG courses should enclose a self-addressed envelope with required stamp
for ordinary post along with each application.

Facility is the research wing of the Institute, which has
been involved in advanced research in various areas
of life sciences such as Medical, Plant, Animal and
Food Biotechnologies, Industrial & Medical
Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Modern Agricultural
Technologies. The Centre caters to the needs of all
science students also for carrying out their research
projects.
