NOTIFICATION
b) The DUPGET shall be conducted for all candidates for all the academic programmes
mentioned in clause 4(a) of the Dibrugarh University Ordinances for the conduct of the
DUPGET, 2019 (Amended in 2020) irrespective of the University they have passed the
qualifying examination. The Subjects are-

Notification for other Post Graduate, Under Graduate, Diploma and
Certificate Programmes have been/ will be notified separately and shortly.
Admission Notice for M.Sc. in Electronics and Communication Programme conducted by
North Lakhimpur College (Autonomous) shall be notified by the College later on.
a) For the 80% of seats reserved for the students graduated from Dibrugarh
University, shall be selected on the merit of the DUPGET, 2021 (i.e. the
weightage of DUPGET 2021 shall be of 100%) in addition to the fulfillment of
minimum eligibility criteria.
b) For the 20% of the seats kept under Open category, the candidates shall also be
selected on the merit of the DUPGET, 2021 only subject to the fulfillment of
minimum eligibility criteria.

a) The DUPGET 2021 shall be held in the Test Centres of the following places:

b) The Candidates shall select their Test Centres while applying online for appearing in
the DUPGET 2021. Change of Test Centre shall not be allowed after final
submission of the online applications.

b) The last date for submission of Online Application : Till 08.09.2021 (upto 5.00 p.m.)
1. Application for appearing in the DUPGET 2021 shall be through online mode only. No
other means of application shall be accepted.
3. For submission of the Online Application Form, intending candidates are advised to
follow the following instructions:
a) The candidate shall be required to visit the DUPGET 2021 Portal in the
website- www.dibru.ac.in and go through the ‘Click here to Apply’ Link.
b) The Candidates are suggested to read carefully the Process-flow or the
Instructions before going to the Next step.
c) On clicking the Next button, the Online Application Form shall be displayed.
The Candidates need to fill-up all information correctly. Please note that all
fields of the Application Form are mandatory.
d) During filling-up the Application Form, the Candidate need to create a
Password according to their choice for subsequent log-in to pay Application
Fee and Final Submission.
e) After completion of the filling-up the Form and uploading of the Photograph
and Signature, the Candidate needs to click the button- ‘Submit and Proceed
for Payment of the Application Fee’ of 500/- only.

f) In the next page, the candidate needs to log-in by entering the Mobile No. and
Password for Fee Payment.
g) On Payment of the Fees, ‘Your Final Submission is done. You may take
print out of your Application Form and Admit Card now’ will be displayed.
h) There will be a button to download your Application Form and Admit Card
for future reference.
i) The Candidate shall have to take a print out of the Admit Card and bring the
same to the Examination Hall on the Date of the Test for verification.
j) The Submission of Online Application Forms shall be automatically closed after the last
date.
4. There shall be no alternative procedure for Application for applying to the DUPGET 2021
and the University shall not receive the Application except the procedure mentioned at (2)
above.
Important Note: The University shall not verify the eligibility of a candidate at the time of receiving
their Application Forms and Issuing Admit Card to them. The candidates not
fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria shall not be debarred from appearing the
DUPGET, 2021.
However, their candidature shall not be considered at the time of admission to the
concerned Post Graduate Programmes conducted by Dibrugarh University and its
affiliated colleges. Hence, the intending candidates are requested to ensure
themselves regarding fulfillment of the minimum eligibility for admission into the
relevant Post Graduate Programme.

iv. Selection procedure:
a. 80% of the total seats in each subject under MA/M.Sc./ M.Com Programmes are reserved
for the graduates of the affiliated/ permitted/ autonomous colleges/ institutes of Dibrugarh
University.
b. Remaining 20% of seats shall be filled up by the eligible candidates belonging to all
recognized Universities excluding Dibrugarh University.
c. For all candidates, appearing DUPGET, 2021 is mandatory.
d. The Candidates secured marks in the DUPGET 2021 in higher order shall get preference to
take admission in to the relevant Programme in Dibrugarh University and in the Affiliated/
Autonomous Colleges according to their preferences.
e. As the Selection of Eligible Candidates for admission to the Post Graduate Programmes
shall be done only on the basis the DUPGET, 2021, the selection and admission shall be
purely provisional and subject to production of relevant documents of passing the
qualifying examinations with requisite norms before the concerned Department/ Centre for
Studies/ College where he/ she has taken admission. An Undertaking shall also be taken
from the admitted students in this regard.
f. Statutory Reservation and Relaxation Policy shall be followed as per the Government Rules
by the University and its Affiliated/ Autonomous Colleges while preparing the Merit List
of the Candidates.

Studies, the Dibrugarh University Reservation and Relaxation Rules for Admission into
Post Graduate, Under Graduate, Advanced Post Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate
Diploma, Diploma and Certificate Programmes (amended upto date) shall be
applicable in selecting the eligible candidates under different non-statutory reservation
categories.

The Affiliated and Autonomous Colleges shall announce their own Admission
Schedule according to their convenience.
2. The Admission and other fees to be paid at the time admission shall be received
through online payment system. The University shall guide the candidates for
payment of their fees.
