REPORT on BRIGADA ESKWELA 2019

I. Introduction

The Department of Education gears towards providing a safe,

motivating, enabling, and nurturing environment in which family,
community, and other stakeholders actively engage and share responsibility
to giving quality education.
As such, its programs like the Brigada Eskwela -- a national
maintenance program which aims to prepare every school’s over all
environment of quality learning such as the school facilities and physical
makeup. For this school year, from May 20-May 25, 2019, the Cabilocaan
Elementary School has planned and implemented the said program.
The implementation centered on the planning , implementation,
documentation and evaluation. Its start off was the Opening program with
the barangay officials, SPG officers, PTA officers, and other stakeholders.
The activities nub on repair of classrooms and furniture including the
comfort rooms and wash facilities, repainting of the frontage and perimeter
fence (inner), construction of needed cabinets, weeding of the school
playground, cleaning and planting in the garden/ nursery, repainting and
repair of building roofing, repair of electrical facilities among others.
The closing program featured the culmination of the volunteers’
services and the awarding of their certificates of appreciation cum the PTA
Assembly.
The said Brigada is a package of effort converged and teamwork
seamed as to the needs of the school and the measures all the stakeholders
can do in order to help improve the school’s total performance in delivering
quality education for the SY 2019-2020.

 II. Objectives

The school has implemented the Brigada Eskwela Program 2019 in

full swing possible. It is aimed at ---

Instilling the sense of cooperation, teamwork and

volunteerism
Preparing the school’s physical makeup for the school opening
Ensuring the safety of the learning environment for the pupils
