Course Overview
Organizations now have more responsibility to balance
risks and costs to deliver asset performance and hence
value to its stakeholders. This balance is achieved
through effective asset decision-making. One key enabler
for effective asset decision-making is asset information.
The Asset Registry is the most strategic and fundamental
piece of asset information because it enables all other
forms of asset information to be created.
Despite being the most fundamental type of asset
information, the asset registry in many organizations lacks
crucial information, does not interact with other forms of
asset information and as such, does not provide strategic
value to decision-making. There are still significant
gaps between the assets that organization has, what is
recorded in their asset registries and how the organization
makes decisions. This course will take a value chain
approach to the asset registry, guiding participants on
how to align it with other organizational processes and
create information of value, in turn, allowing the assets to
generate value for stakeholders.

About the Facilitator

Suzane Greeman, ASQ-CMQ/OE, CAMA, CAMP, CMRP is the author of the “Risk-based
Asset Criticality Assessment (R-b ACA©) Handbook”. She is the President and
Principal Asset Management Advisor of Greeman Asset Management Solutions Inc.,
a firm that specializes in asset management, maintenance and reliability advisory and
education.
Suzane is an accomplished Asset Management Leader with over 21 years of
experience in cement manufacturing, power generation, and wastewater treatment.
Her areas of expertise include developing asset information management strategies
and systems, developing and deploying asset management policy, developing asset
management business processes, leading multi-functional project teams, managing
capital and maintenance management programs and organizational capacity-building.
Suzane regularly authors and presents papers at asset and maintenance
