Segments Specifications & Illustration

Air Inlet / Mixing Box / Air Outlet / Economizer Segment

Application Option
Air inlet segment - it is linked with return air duct, and manual 90° or electric driver
supply return air into air handling unit
Mixing box - it can adjust the proportion of return air and
outdoor air to satisfy the need of air conditioning
environment.
Air outlet segment - it is linked with supply air duct, and
supply air to air conditioning systems.
Economizer segment - it can adjust the proportion of
return air, outdoor air and exhaust air to satisfy the needs
of air conditioning environment.

Damper arrangement and construction

Damper is opposed blades, with motor driven or manual
controlled link rod. Blades are made of galvanized steel
sheet or AL, move smoothly in the opposite direction and Unit Width Module W 7M 9M ≥11M
lubrication free. Damper is equipped with 40mm drilled Mdl_X/Y 7 9, 5 W, W-4-2n
flange.
Note:
Damper size 1. If a damper located at the side of AHU, the width (Mdl_Y) will determine the length of
Optional damper dimension module (Mdl_X, Mdl_Y) is AHU segment (Damper required to be installed in the casing which length module not less
than width module of damper). To minimize the length size and cost of AHU, it is
matched with YSM module. For example, 7Mx9M damper recommended to maximize the length of damper, rather than the width.
can be positioned at the front of YSM0709 or above 2. Because of high volume of return air, it is recommended to position the return air damper
at the front of unit for the above reason. If no damper is needed, you can only choose
models. flanged opening.
3. Please contact our local office for detailed damper dimension.
Mdl_X/Y is same as height module H or less than height
module H-4 at height.

Mdl_X/Y logic at width is as follow (n is number such as

Note
1. Damper dimension X can be subtracted multiplier of 190 from Xmax. Y can be subtracted multiplier of 100 from Ymax.
2. Damper dimension design is based on air velocity and pressure drop. Noise generation should be increased with air velocity increasing. As a rule of thumb, damper selected with air
velocity less than 10m/s will not contribute any significant noise to AHU sound levels in general.6.5m/s is recomended to be used based on cost and performance.
