②From your abstract, I just find two sensitivity parameters (fracture half-length and injection
rate) you investigated. That is not enough. There are lots of the fracture, well and reservoir
parameters (fracture numbers, fracture half-length, fracture conductivity, reservoir permeability,
initial reservoir pressure and initial reservoir temperature, well spacing and well lateral length, etc)
can be investigated.

1.2 Background of Research

Both 1.3 and 1.4 belong to 1.2. Please reorganize this section.

1.5 Motivation of your study

It needs to be re-written. It should be the motivation of your study, not the motivation of
geothermal energy development.

1.6 Problem Statement

It needs to be re-written. The first two paragraphs are irrelevant and should be removed. Just
point out the current limitations or problems of your target study area.

Chapter 2.
This chapter should contains two parts: 2.1 Model assumptions and 2.2 Mathematical equations.
Please reorganize the chapter 2.

Chapter 3
This chapter should contains three parts: 3.1 Numerical Model of a Enhanced Geothermal
Reservoir, which covers your current 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3; 3.2 Simulation Results; 3.3 Sensitivity
Analysis, which covers your current 3.4. And you should add more sensitivity parameters in this
chapter 3.3.

Chapter 4
Should be the "Optimal Design for Hydraulic Fracturing of Horizontal Wells in EGS", which
is absent. Ask Dr.Liao Kai to help you add this part. Your thesis must have this part, because your
thesis topic has the "Optimization". The thesis committee won't let you passed without it.
