Constables presently serving in Punjab Police on the recommendations of the Punjab Public

2. These vacancles (male & female) shall be filled-in on Region/District basis in

pursuance of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Appointment, Promotion and Conditions of Service)
Rules, 2011 (amended, 2015) from amongst graduate Constables/Head Constables of
respective Regions/Lahore District according to the break-up as discussed above.

3. Only Constables/Head Constables recruited in District Police on permanent

basis (either serving in districts or in borrowing units/organizations on deputation basis) are
eligible to apply against the posts of their concerned regions.
4. An indent (in-duplicate) duly filled-in for recruitment against 187 vacant posts
of Assistant Sub-Inspectors (BS-11) to be filled in through departmental selection is enclosed
alongwith all relevant papers for further necessary action, please.
5. The syllabus prescribed (enclosed) is strongly recommended from the client
Department in accordance with its needs and objectives. The PPSC may re-design the
syllabus as per its existing capacity.
