NOTE:
This preliminary construction equipment utilization analysis is prepared to measure the type and numbers of equipment that are essential for the implementation of the major project works. Equipment numbers and utilization are based on
the materials bill of quantities developed for the project to support cost estimating. Conservative hourly (daily) equipment producion rates were used to estimate the number of units of equipment and the period of operation (in days) to
complete the major project tasks within the schedule limits from which this analysis is founded. Typically, the number of units of equipment were based on 10-hour, single shift work, 6 days per week with holidays.
