The above given values are product describing data. Please consult the ‘delivery specification’ for binding product
specifications. Further data about product properties, toxicological, ecological data as well as data relevant to safety can be
found in the safety data sheet.
BIAVIN 109 is applied to improve the running properties of the goods to be dyed during the finishing.
It imparts excellent gliding properties to delicate substrates and crack marks are effectively prevented.
Moreover, the dyeing machines can carry a higher load or the liquor ratio may be reduced which is reflected in
considerable salt, alkali and energy savings.
BIAVIN 109 has no effect on shade and colour depth, on the contrary, the colour appearance is positively
influenced by the properties described.
Application technique
Diluting instructions
BIAVIN 109 can easily be diluted or emulsified in cold and hot water.
Fields of Application
BIAVIN 109 is applicable in the entire field of cotton dyeing and due to its low foam tendency on all kinds of
machines. Since it is resistant to acids, BIAVIN 109 can also be used in one-bath dyeing of fibre blends with
reactive, acid or disperse dyes.
Application proposals
BIAVIN 109 is added to the liquor at the beginning of dyeing, prior to dyestuff, salt or alkali. After a short pre-run,
the goods completely absorbed the product and the liquor is clear again.
Application amounts
These amounts should not be exceeded. Overdosing deos not improve the efficiency but may cause slight
dyestuff retarding.
