Something I will always treasure

About 20 years ago, when I was a child, once walking in Bogota, exactly on the
Moncerrate hill, my older sister gave me a necklace with a cross, because she said that I
was misbehaving and that I was going to protect myself. delivered in a small box, which I
still have, is a wooden cross and the box also, from that moment I began to use it as my
lucky charm, I never wanted to buy it, but I do not want to sell it, I hope to keep it Forever
and that my children know, now I keep it in my bedroom so that it will not be damaged, this
necklace that was given to me by my sister is a treasure for me, because she is not living
in this country , and through of this necklace I feel that my sister takes care of me. Things
like that, that are given to me by my family are the treasures I will always keep. On the
other hand that necklace every time there was a mischief done by me, my sister told me
that it put on the smallest cross, of course that story I never believed it, but I remember her
words as if it were yesterday.

An anecdote about the necklace that I would like to tell you, is that once playing
soccer I broke a glass, and all the children that were playing went running, all of
us were scolded by our parents, except my person, because I had the necklase
given by my sister, in fact I still feel that protects me, I am already an adult and I
do not use it almost, but having that necklace in my house, I feel that it blesses
it, maybe it is not so, but while I believe it and have faith, everything always It
will be fine, what my sister gave me more than a necklace has already become
a talisman, so I hope that when I have my son, he can use it to commit his
antics and always be protected, that everything goes well, This is like a
necklase blessed by God from moncerrate, the next time I go to Bogota I will try
to buy another, maybe it is not an amulet like the first one that my sister gave
me, but with some faith, it will also protect me.
