ODI IKA

IDIN-KAA

1. Ifa is the savior of this person. ifa says that as at the time

whom this Odu is revealed had gone down considerably. Ifa

person to offer ebo with four pigeons, four guinea-fowls and
money. All the feathers of the four guinea-fowls will be

will be grinded and will be used to imprint Idin’ka on Opon
Ifa. This stanza will be recited into it and the person for
whom this Odu is revealed will be given in order to consume
together with any form of porridge. On this, Ifa says:

Ebo ni won ni ko waa se
O gb’ebo, o ru’bo
Alado ewi,
Kiletu nwo loko?
Tuurutu letu nwo loko
Tuurutu

Translation
Idin kaa
Idin koo
They cast Ifa for Orunmila
When the avenue for gift and business totally blocked
He was advised to offer ebo
He complied
How do guinea-fowls move in the forest
Guinea-fowls moves in troops

2. Ifa says that it foresees the ire of childbearing for a barren


woman here. This woman also needs to go and feed Orisa
Oko after the ebo. Ifa advises this woman to offer ebo with
two hens, four rats, four fish and money. After this, she is to
feed Orisa Oko as recommended by Ifa. On this, Ifa says:

O gb’ebo, o ru’bo
Ko pe, ko jinna

Translation
The tree root that runs across the road cannot stop water
from passing through
Ifa’s message for Orisa-Oko the elder of Irawo land
When lamenting his inability to beget his own baby

4. Ifa says that there is a barren woman here who needs to

for children. Ifa advises this woman to offer ebo with two
hens, four rats, four fish and money. on this, Ifa says:

Translation
Idin confess your sins

Instead for her to confess

6. Ifa says it foresees the ire of childbearing for this person.

person to offer ebo with one female pig and money. The
reproduction organ of the pig will be cooked together with
Oniseseki leaves for the woman to consume once. On this,
Ifa says:

Translation
Idin we have never cut you before
It is your rough back that we have seen
The woman walked and stopped
She tied her underwear
And told her husband that she had seen her period
again
Ifa’s message for the barren woman of Ife
When lamenting her inability to beget her own baby
She was advised to offer ebo
She complied
I will give birth to my own baby
The Oniseseki leaves that reside in the farm
They are known for having several children

7. Ifa says that there is a secret that this person is guiding

multicolour costume
When going to take marvelous dance steps under the
banyan tree
He was advised to offer ebo
He complied
The cover tore on the knee
And the stocking tore in the leg
The matter of Paraka has become something that all
awo needs to deliberate upon

8. Ifa advises a pregnant woman to offer ebo in order to have a


safe delivery. This woman needs to offer ebo so that there
would not be any need to undergo any caesarian operation
before she delivers her baby. The ebo materials here are
one sharp knife, three roosters and money. on this, Ifa says:
