PWT’19 Closing Remarks

This is kind of a transcript for the ceremony we had yesterday, just in case someone
wants to have memories :p
Have fun!

Navneeth's speech: Part 1

Impulsive to be a head
Poor life choices - wrong choice?
But yeah, one of the most fantastic journeys in the four years, thanks to an amazing set of third and
second years
We have a lot of potential
Throughout the year, second years might have been thinking that ...
Sudden spike in four days
Happy to have we guys bonded really well, gelled well
Thanking each team: Transport, OC
First day was fuckall, absolutely chaotic
Second was really smooth, applause
CSG - Yash and Aditya
Food - Aditya and Vipul: we look after our own :yo:, these are the perks
Keep on with the scams: we have scam artists

Second years: first day you were really :whistling:

Second+ day: all took responsibilities, :applause:
Certificates: yours truly

One last thing: no thing as a head, we sit together, way together, bond over Pragyan. This is not a team,
it is a family. :applause:

Hope you guys carry this momentum forward

Second years’ speeches: Round 1

Satyam: Before: we didn't meet, Covered up for each other

Asif: Surya guy and other transport people, Sruthi di: she really helped me

Praneeth: Didn't know you guys: chilling out, Three Anna's who contacted everyone and caterer Anna
(Vipul maybe :p)

Tarun: Expected we do Not work, Came to know that we do a lot of work, but we don't show outside

SHUBHAM PHARANDE 1
Gokul: Peace when I came on day 2, Provided food, AC cars, totally cool

Jishnu: Not expected so chill after inductions, expected a lot of work, Woke up early for the first time
these 3 days, Different experience

Srinivas: Loved the quality of publicity, calling up people for payments, Loved transport: Kunal Anna,
Onkar Anna, Surya Ann, Yashaswini was a very good coordinator, Thanks for food :p

Deepanshu: Rupesh's reco, Festember workshops was shit, Cool with calling companies and all, Third
and fourth years and all were not like a hierarchy, Yeah, even Aditya worked :\, Was really fun

Mayank: First team, Really fun, Not much idea before, no meetings, New things: transport, Workshop
was really chill, played VR in between the workshop too

Sahiti: Frightened being the only girl, Didn't know guys, So chill before, had a good time in Pragyan

Anirudh: There's a lot of unseen synergy between the teammates, Overall credit should be given to
heads, were there everywhere, Process became very streamlined because of that
Aditya's workshop was shit last year, Sruthi akka deserves a lot of special mentions: didn’t even have
food when we asked her to, worked hard with OC and workshops, Thanks for food, Transports: all
names, contacted a lot of people, Shubham did a lot of work for certificates and on-spots, I love all
second years, so I wore black over blue, Hope we continue next year too with the same zeal

Round 2
Srini- didn't pressurize with work, better than FCT, transport could've been more efficient, some
random issue

Gokul- super chill heads, Sidharth is chill of a different kind, NAV is what the duck for everything,
Ganesha is all professional, Anshul anna super cool with mails, transport was adventurous, his story,
food was amazing

Jishnu- heads were chill, Ganesha was the head for the other two heads, very friendly, easily
approachable, different and nice experience

Shivang- I thought they'd sit on a chair and give orders, Sidharth helped on the ground, "Naveen" was
expected to be very strict, third and second years did a good job. Just because of workshops, I started
eating chicken

Praneeth- Sidharth and NAV took inductions, so I knew Sid was chill, you can escape giving him
reasons, two did work.

Asif- question: are you guys in a relationship? (Spectrum relationship shouts heard :p, Ganesha says
that the only problem is that Sidharth has a girlfriend. Both blush :p) First day: Nav scolded everyone,

SHUBHAM PHARANDE 2
he thought he was screwed. Ganesha and Sidharth: chill guys.

Anirudh- Is Sidharth someone in the team? Chemistry between heads,...,

Satyam- same opinions, Sidharth was put peace, he thought NAV targetted him in the day 1 speech
because he was roaming around, Ganesha, third years covered up, guided us,

Sahiti- Didn't know all three, Nav is more aggressive, they are so chill, so many second years from so
many colleges have a crush on him, even guys, Ganesha is so chill and responsible,

Karan- Sidharth was expected to be the most hard-working person: but he only did one significant work
that is lifting the engine, don't get angry :p, he was roaming around with me for the next two days,
Ganesha was chill and he worked, Navneeth was working.

Deepanshu- initially I thought final years will be bossy, we'd have trouble, thought it'd be a hierarchy,
but everyone worked on the ground, it was fun

Mayank- thought third and final years would be bossy, but they were friendly, they were there when
needed, guided, I thought Sidharth would be very chill, escape work using this guy

Tarun-

---

Surya: compared to last year, we had much more bonding, he is still confused, I had this belief that
"you can bond when we work together", I missed sessions, had fun with everyone, hope everyone
continues, didn't expect everyone to pull this off, kudos to those who managed, I can only say thanks

Yash: beginning of the inductions, we thought they have a hell lot of attitude, even before the fest, but
everyone was humble to the organisers, his old story, humble heads, kudos to all

Anshul- Sidharth worked a lot and didn't show it at all, second years: I thought I had to do everything
but you did it, none of you spoke about what things you did during the workshop, I want the whole
batch to be the same, don't leave the team, you'll get a good response

Wonder woman, sissy Sruthi- second years are amaaaaazing, OC work and all, all of you handled
really well, third years kept the work going, amaaaaazing guys, I messed up the work, I didn't attend
the meeting, the others did work, took care really well, transport was amaaaaazing, Shubham was
amaaaaazing thanks for the certificates, thanks for the tees Yash, chill people, when I was gonna quit
the team: heads promised that they won't give work, ..., But bhaiyyas convinced me, Ganesha is very
very responsible, Nav gets tensed up but he handled really well, Sidharth is pretty chill, but you haven't
seen a side of him and humble, cleaning and carrying stuff, ..., Kudos for converting and not giving
work,

Yashaswini- whenever in second year, I had to fit in the team, so let's run after work, not much bonding
and knowing people, this year I knew people, Nav helped me a lot, he took most of my work, etc etc,
Ganesha is very responsible, sees nothing goes wrong, Sidharth was calm and we didn't see all the work

SHUBHAM PHARANDE 3
that they did, a lot of work that they did before, peaceful guy, knows how to handle things without
much fuss (captain chill shouts are heard)
Second years did a good job, I messed up, you guys did very well, I didn't have much work with
workshops itself due to OC, others too, third years thanks for food, transport was good when I heard it
was a difficult job, I couldn't have woken up in the morning, thanks Shubham for certificates, Sruthi, ...
Didn't mention names due to time constraints, Yash thanks for the t-shirt

Harika- kudos to the team, my voice is gone so I can't shout, second years did a very good job,
managed to come for all three days, even when third years didn't come at 7, I called only certain people
all the time, but still..., Batchmates this year we had a great bonding, but that was much individual
work, really amazing, everyone did a good job, transport, food, certificates, OC people, day 1 was
literally screwed up mostly because I didn’t do OC, Pharande did a great job with certificates, hope
everyone continues and we'll have more fun, regarding heads, I didn't attend most meetings, still they
were nice and didn't scold, Same for Sidharth, Ganesha is not the only one responsible, all three are and
we had a great Pragyan because of that, thanks to the second, third and final years

Aditya- Aadi, happy birthday, thanks for that, first two days were with the same person so I don't know
others, what I saw that second years were doing the actual work, not third years, I didn't come to the
workshop, I saw people working, don't know about yashaswini, Sruthi finds work to do, (duly gives all
girls a mention in his speech -_-) harika you were expected to work but you didn't do on the first day,
handled everything because yashaswini didn't do much, thanks for that, transportation was good, heads
Sidharth..., Sidharth was the one who worked for CSG, came at sharp 11, he is stick on time, second
years thanks, ..., Thank you for helping us, thanks to heads, am I audible? Nav was handling meals,
give us more work, Ganesha handled everything in work, thanks for everything

Kunal- second years did a commendable job because we didn't expect much since we didn't guide you
about the team, workshops, responsibilities, mistakes, experiences, etc, but you did a good job, but
because of that we were free and we could handle our jobs. Transport was good, the schedule was
sorted compared to last year, heads made a perfect schedule, we did small things. Third years: second
years thanks for being enthusiastic about transport, we give you workshops because you get to know
things and stuff, understand things, most of you might have learnt a lot. All three heads are unique, Nav
is strict, Ganesha is organised and Sidharth is a balance, always contact him, a lot of background work
happened on their rooms before Pragyan itself, even we don't know things. You are only seeing the
surface, peace now

Yours Truly: Didn't get around much with workshops, but second years did a great job with the
workshops, even when we third years weren't there. Anshul did a shit job with certificates :p (and the
bottle comes flying xD). All third years did their other jobs well too, we had a streamlined process from
day 2 mainly because of digitalising things, heads did a great job, Navneeth, not just inside, but even
outside the team, is a great wall of support. Didn't work much with Ganesha, but he is a hardworking
person, always available at any time of the day, night, early morning. Sidharth helped a lot on the
ground, with manually counting and verifying the certificates at the PR, etc. Navneeth, Rupesh,
Ganesha and Sidharth did a great job all round the year with converts. Great job by the whole team!

Vipul- I was worried about how things would be arranged, people qualities, second years were
awesome, third years were great, Shubham did a good job with certificates and treasury, heads did a
great job, complementing each other, thanks Nav for the first day kick, Ganesha is the symbol of

SHUBHAM PHARANDE 4
discipline for me, most disciplined, authority, Sidharth, cool, smart work over hard work and that's why
we are workshops not OC, second years I'd expect all of you to be there and we'll all have more fun

Onkar- sorry to second years for waking up, kudos to heads, couldn't have a better team than this,
transport they did a good job and picked up calls and stuff, we woke up all night because we thought
you wouldn't respond and we'd have to go. Nav did work singlehandedly. We're expecting one more
treat for successful Pragyan

---

Rupesh- I don't know you guys, I know third years, second years are really good compared to our
years, ..., Third years are really good, took up work, due to which we didn't need fourth years. Nav- is
chill, cool exterior, cares a lot, concerned about the team, workshop juniors to look after for, Ganesha-
organised person, sleeps at 10:30, wakes up at 5 (Ganesha didn’t miss a single class for the past two
sems), Sidharth is the exact version of what you described :p

---

Navneeth- TBH, compared to last year we had a major problem of team bonding, our second year team
was exceptional, third years were fine and fourth years were amazing, 10 of them were handling, that
team was dream team :claps:. We got along with everyone, before Pragyan itself. Our head was pretty
chill, but he gave a wake-up call like me, very chill and approachable, Aravind was everywhere and did
all things
After that batch, I'm seeing something similar this year. I don't care if we fuck up, but I wanted team
bonding to go right. Our fault that we didn't get bonding before Pragyan. We had a slight intuition that
things might kick in during the four days, well-oiled machine. Only happens when the team is bonded
really well, please continue this next year. This is not a team, more like a family.
There's no concept of a head, it is everyone working together and couldn't do it without these two, and
thanks to Rupesh for special inputs
We did everything together and towards making it happen. Couldn't have got better people to lead the
team.
Sidharth is chill, captain chill, but not laid-back. He was calm during calamity. He provided balance
when we were in tough times.
Ganesha- we two were lenient, but he is a taskmaster. Be a bit harsh to juniors when they didn't listen
to you, pushing the team, he has contacts more than both put together, coordination with OC, ...,
We don't have a concept of a team, but third years take charge, plan and work together. Stay that way
as a family irrespective of who takes lead.
Only we know our problems and how important are we do this fest. Don't let anyone affect you.
We are certified hustlers!

Sidharth- for a lot of you guys, it has only been 4 days, which aren't enough to create bonding, but
PWT proved it wrong
One of my seniors whom I look up said that you only work for a team when you love your work or you
love the people you work, so I think you guys did a great job

SHUBHAM PHARANDE 5
Ganesha- thought that the team is too small to be handled, but proved wrong, third years all teams did
best. We should've given you more contacting work. We weren't best in supplies, but we had to take
you, we had doubts due to a lack of meetings. But after the first day speech from Nav, everyone did
great. Second years never expect from you, third years didn't do that way last year. Transport fuckups
didn't happen like last year, but not this year. OC all four did everything that was expected, didn’t
expect this much from food, certificates even though there were a lot of issues, Shubham made sure
things went fine and everyone got certificates and all corrections were made, Yash for t-shirts and
Shubham for tshirt design
Didn't work on conversion that much as Navneeth, only for consultations, only four days we were
helping. It would've been tough if it was two only. Not repeating what they spoke

--

Sidharth

We all fucked up but Nav would take all responsibility, kudos for Navneeth for conversion

Second years, was a way better chemistry, than last years. Your third years weren't as well as now.
Navneeth was the male version of Sruthi, taking up and doing all the work.
All three of us, we gave everything we had, especially during the last three days

Applause and curtains close for cutting the cake :p
