Symptom

• You encounter error BA 013 All available files are already being used

Environment

• Release Independent

Cause

• <PARAM_2> parameter is not being utilized in your physical file name definition.
• During archiving more than 40 parallel processes are executed.

Resolution

1. Go to transaction FILE
2. Double click on 'Logical File Name Definition' in the Dialog Structure
3. Position on the 'Logical file' being used
4. Double click on this entry to display the Details screen
5. Define the Physical file using the format <PARAM_1>_<DATE>_<TIME>_<PARAM_2>.ARCHIVE
6. Add this Physical file definition into the 'Physical file' field
7. Use <HOST> or <Z=NAME> parameters if > 40 parallel processes are being executed
8. Save the changes
