INTRODUCTION
PROJECT NAME:- INTERNATIONAL WELLNESS RESORT
LOCATION:- RISHIKESH
SITE AREA:- 150 ACRES

BRIEF:-
Wellness is defined by multidimensional considerations
including social, occupational, spiritual, physical, intellectual, and
emotional.1 These dimensions are interrelated, interactive, and
integrated within an individual or community system of functioning.2
Traditional wellness centers provide a diverse range of services, that
may include fitness, nutrition and diet, relaxation/ meditation, mental
health, and education with services designed to improve and promote
individual and community health. An analysis of the literature
revealed several dominant themes in the operation and effectiveness
of wellness centers, including community‐based programming,
preventive health care, client empowerment, and cultural sensitivity.

UTTARAKHAND OVERVIEW
 The State of Uttarakhand was formed on 9th November 2000
as the 27th State of India, when it was carved out of northern
Uttar Pradesh.
 The State is close to the National Capital Region (NCR) and has
excellent connectivity with its neighbouring states.
 With levels of literacy rate* (78.80%) higher than the national
average and the presence of institutes of international repute,
the State has abundant availability of quality human resources.
 The state offers a wide range of benefits in terms of interest
incentives, financial assistance, subsidies and concessions.
 GSDP of the state stood at INR 2,17,609 Million with a growth
rate of 11.23%.
PROJECT NEED:-
The proposed project is a wellness resort that provides an
extensive range of treatments with world class amenities would be a
suitable project.

AIM:-
 Offering a unique blend of traditional skills and practices
passed on by generations with modern high-end luxury,
 This project comes as a perennial choice for an enriching
holiday with benefits of Ayurveda, yoga and meditation.
 Offering a unique Ayurveda experience to its guests from pan
India and across the world, the retreat provides perfect
location.

OBJECTIVE:-
 Enhanced quality of natural and cultural tourist attractions.
 Providing new interest among the tourists, thereby holding
visitors in the region for longer duration resulting increase of
revenue.
 The Ayurveda centre has trained doctors and therapists who
provide the right treatments and services.
 The Yoga centre is perfect for practicing various postures and
breathing exercises.
 This hotel also provides indoor and outdoor recreational
activities.

SCOPE:-
 To study the impact of nature responding over a period of time
and retention of positive aspects for development.
 Understanding the function and issue of the place from its
origin in the process of development.
 To create the development framework for conservation
practice to respect of growth of tourism without any destroying
its past.
 Landscaping & Garden Maintenance - Landscaping and
maintenance of garden/green areas including cleaning and
sweeping, removal of weeds, application of soil, manure and
chemical fertilizers, cutting of hedges, shrubs, trees, moving of
lawn mower, daily watering to total garden etc.

LIMITATION:-
 Operate, maintain and manage the project and related services
including procurement of the associated material, equipment,
articles and necessary inventories from the reputed vendors /
manufacturers.
 Management of the entire facilities and related services.

Wellness tourism represents the intersection of a powerful lifestyle
trend and a growing
global industry.
► Wellness industry projected to touch ₹150,000 crore.
► Wellness tourists are high-yield tourists who bring greater
economic impacts.
► Wellness tourism can support preservation of traditional culture
and natural assets, and can stimulate entrepreneurship.
► Wellness tourism brings in revenues, creates jobs, and may help
improve the well-being of the general population.

Project Outline
 An integrated wellness centre is proposed to be developed on 150 Acre land
in Rishikesh This Centre will cater to larger society of nearby districts.

 The proposed opportunity is to Develop world class wellness centre with all
amenities on PPP Model.

 This hospital will cater the society in all types of AYUSH treatments and other
treatments. This property will be one of its kind facility with world class
hospitality facility.

 Rishikesh is popularly known as Yoga Capital of the World
 The proposed location is surrounded by hills and bisected by
the wide and sluggish Ganges. It is an excellent place to
meditate and study yoga.

Rishikesh
