Greetings and Prosperity!

I am writing this letter to show my intent of applying for my daughter, Eicel Maie H. Marterio, a grade 7
student from VII-Socrates, to be under the ESC scholarship. To start it is such a great privilege for my
daughter to be a part of your academe.

In line with this, the undersigned is humbly asking for your good office for a chance to apply for a
scholarship program under the ESC program. The support for the continuance of her studies will be a big
help to my family especially to our financial situation. I and my husband have no fixed monthly salary.
My husband is a retiree and we are just depending on our small general store. Being a student in MCU is
a great honor and I know this institution will help my daughter to achieve her goals.

Rest assured that she will be very responsible, and will set her best foot forward in any given task. Your
approval will surely be a great help and a noble blessing indeed.
