In the 2002, I studied at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia. My major is Electrical
Engineering and my final assignment is about Active Noise Control System Implementation
on TMS320C6713 DSK using Filtered-error LMS algorithm. After graduating 2008, I work at
Ministry of Industry and my workplace is Balai Besar Industri Hasil Perkebunan in Makassar,
Indonesia. I work under Planning and Reporting division. I have the responsibility to make
planning on next year activities, monitoring and make report on current activities.

Since my job and my undergraduate background is uncorrelated, now I continue my study to

take master program. I decide to take master linkage program Universitas Indonesia (UI) -
Kobe University. Right now, I already finished my first year in UI and continue my study in
GSICS Kobe University starting in October 2015, majoring Economics.

My research interest is about Investment especially Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and its
determinant. There are several factor that influence the acceptance of FDI such as
macroeconomic variable, political stability and investment climate. But I will focus on crime.
Based on previous study, crime can affect the acceptance of FDI on the country. So, the topic
of my research is the impact of crime on FDI, case study in Indonesia. Because of the time
limitation, I use secondary data.

Honestly, I don’t have Social Research Experience. So I hope I could gain some knowledge in
social research through this course. However, I have some background on Mathematics
(mathematics for engineering and mathematics for economics), Statistic and Econometrics. I
learned those from my previous study (In ITB an UI).
